The airport is probably built near the city center with no more spaces to expand. Most new international airports are designed and built away from the city center.🏖🏝
@@Medibrahimabdi Many countries now either take travelers' photos or fingerprints. The United States use biometrics for more than 10 years now. Most of the developed countries use biometrics now except developing countries because they do not have the technology or resources. Even Thailand, Philippines, Japan and Singapore use photos or biometrics when I traveled there. Enjoy ⛱️🏖️
If your goal was to confuse me, you’ve succeeded. Why didn’t you have to clear immigration? If your connection is a long layover and you get a hotel, do you have to recheck your bag AFTER customs and immigration?
That was a flight from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to Cancun, Mexico with a transfer in Mexico City. It was a domestic flight. There was no clearance thru Immigration and Customs. If the flight is from an international country, it is required to clear Immigration and Customs with our checked bags and recheck in for another transfer flight ⛱️🏖️
@@jabirmohammed5015 Thanks. Please read the link above. If we transit less than 24 hours in Mexico and not leaving the airport, we only stay at the transit terminal and we do not have to clear Mexican Immigration and Customs🏖🏝
