#Scotland #Rugby - Спорт
My great grandfather came to NZ with the Scotish Guard as a Horse trainer. He was dishonorably discharged for helping Maori then eventually wed my great grandmother Te Maringi Wikkepa. She became Mrs Grant. My grandfather had 18 children to an English woman. I am one of 118 grandchildren.
Kia Ora!! 😃👍👌
Bloody hell that's some going, fair play!
My god I'd hate to see your bank balance after Christmas
Beautiful! THIS is what international sport should be about!
This is absolutely beautiful. I'm so proud to be Māori with Scottish heritage. Kā tu mātou, e runga i nga whakaiwi mo mātou tupuna - We stand on the shoulder's of our ancestors. Mauri Ora!
No doubt the heartwarming impact this will leave on our Scottish Visitors, what a wonderful way to be hosted and embraced by this whanau…… just superb 😊
The sport is great but it's nothing without the respect the learning of each others cultures and the friendships that are made.
Lovely, welcoming kindly hospitality at Ngunguru where Edward Amos, Reg Anderson, Arthur Bartlett, Arthur Drummond, Edward Grogan, Arthur Lynch, William Shoebridge and Roro Wellington (KIA) all of Ngunguru plus all those102 former WW1 and WW2 veterans buried in Maunu Cemetery that served under a British Flag in both World Wars so that we could enjoy the fields of battle on a rugby field. Lest We Forget
Bloody brilliant! Rugby wins, all the best Scotland 🏴
So brilliant! Lovely exchange of culture. Teared up when yous sang Loch Momond.
This was beautiful to watch! I'm a proud Scotsman with Pict and Celtic blood in my veins and tattoos all over my body and I love that Maori people are as proud and passionate of their culture and heritage too!

Love Scotland, met a few other Kiwis over there, the history alone is what draws me there, plus the Single Malts.
Love you Scotland 🏴
As a Maori with Scottish heritage through my grandfather this was so cool to see the two cultures come together. Hope our Scottish visitors enjoy their time here and come back again in the future even if it's for a harerei (Holiday). Also that cheeky lil Hua (lil sh**) had me 🤣 wishing them good luck then saying they're going to get smashed cause that's just typical kiwi kids behaviour right there..😂
😀 Ohhhh they're getting the real authentic sht.. Well there it is 🐒🐒😜😂🤪
That was a great video. The rendition of Loch Lomond was very uplifting.
Good luck ladies. Enjoy your time in Aotearoa
Thank you for embracing the maori culture ladies.
Much respect
I'm half Maori and half Scottish, one half of me wants to get drunk the other half doesn't want to pay for it 😂 - Billy T James
That would explain a lot. However when i got too pissed i ended up shouting everyone and had a pocket full of coins when i woke up lol

Aww that’s so cool 👍🏽 totally enjoyed that video, thanks for sharing ladies!
2 good songs to learn i love them both 💕 😁
Beautiful , thanks for sharing😍
I hope this is just the beginning of a close relationship between two peoples from opposite ends of the world that will last forever, a hononga (connection, bond) that will be maintained and handed down as a taonga tukuiho (precious gift, heirloom) from generation to generation. Don't let this be the first and last time you come! Also, I think my future wife is somewhere in Scotland lol 😂😉
