Piglins have a chance of giving you crying obsidian when you give them gold. It's a vanilla feature and should be the easiest way to get it. The drop chance is ~8.71% for 1-3 so with a stack of gold you should be basically guaranteed the 4 you'd need to upgrade your dank.
Thank you so much for sharing this info, I completely forgot about this feature and was trying to get crying obsidian using the ender bees which wasn't really working as I never used that mod before.
You can find them in crimson forest or nether wastes biomes. Just fly to one of those in the nether void and build a platform for them to spawn on. There's no Easy Piglin mod (a companion to Easy Villagers), which is unfortunate.
Great videos for this mod pack. As a minecraft veteren, I learned some good tips from this run. Love seeing other ways to do set-ups and machinery. Couple tips for you: you can always set the Dank to void excess, no need to set the cobble filter. Feral Flare Lantern is amazing for any skyblock for auto torching.
I love packs that give early access to crafting-capable mass storage! Man, I hope EnderIO makes a big comeback. The bundled cables are such a good solution for compact autocrafting arrays. Item extraction, power delivery, and auxiliary item/fluid all in one blockspace, and it's easier to configure than, say a Xnet system
LaserIO has quickly become my favorite for routing power, fluids and items to a single block. It makes for extremely compact automation systems. Its just a little bit more of a time investment setting up the item cards.
I’ve used it several times in packs. It was designed to fill the hole left by Ender IO’s absence. I’ll definitely be using it in this series, along with several other transport mods. :)
^makes the system to consolidate items^ ^doesn't know where his items are^. Jokes aside, great series, and the RFTools thing is really cool for early game storage solution. I didn't know about that.
I haven't play with the new enderio, I was really excited to see how it went. But I also heard that it's a bit buggy and is still a WIP so just need time. I love the project chests!
I tested a macro that grows crops insanely fast, even MA crops. But I'm sure you mean the eventual large scale automation. ;) Me too, on that. Not sure which system I'm going to go with yet...
@@meraduddcethin2812 I’ve got to remember to say in a video that my macros are available in my Discord, in the Stuff channel. (Discord link in the description.)
For mob farm collection and sorting I use sophisticated backpacks, u would do well with a diamond backpack with at least tier 3 stack upgrade a void, magnet, pump and tank upgrades and a experience obelisk on top so in 2 blocks ya can pick up all drops void nonstackables and junk and shunt exp to an infinite storage too hope this helps o/ ;)
I've done that before too. :) It works well for fast, mid-level storage. I picked the dank and experience obelisk with the eye to later taking the dank to super-deep levels that outclasses everything else. :D Well, except maybe black hole storage, but those are much more involved to get to.
I’m watching this well after publishing, so it might have already been said, but the way to fix Speed effects warping your camera is to go to Accessibility Settings and turn off/turn down the option there.
oh i used enderio pipes years ago. they are really great ones. many mods dont used them anymore since then. nice to see that they are in the mod again. btw saw an reciepe for crying obsidian with create mod.
The Storage Monitor is so often overlooked but it's such a powerful early game option! I do love EnderIO conduits but imo the current iteration is not good enough to be used in modpacks. It has too many bugs as you could see when you tried to get that connection bacfk; the Yeta wrench also doesn't behave as it did on conduits.
And touching an Ender IO item conduit to a dank crashes my client. I’ll be using them sparingly for the time being. And I love the Storage Scanner. It’s remote even works cross-dimensionally. :)
if you want fast power transfer, by farr the best is mekanism power conduit. they dont create connections, instead they form power storing multiblock structures, and that means the more cables you connect the faster the transfer rate. even basic one can transfer huge amount of power if you place enough of them. and the neatest thing is, you can upgrade them in the world, just by right clicking alloy on your connection. thou i would avoid mekanism item pipes, they are a bit funky and unreliable.
Non' is what I would call, "Master of slow speedrunning" re the conduits, might have been a block update issue again on the input chest-end i think, as you didn't have the redstone conduit tab available on the item extract to set the redstone conduit part [which needs to be done as well as the item conduit part]... as the redstone connection on that end isn't active; you might need the enderio wrench to fix it*... Having said all that; in the pack I played last year with the rebooted enderio, this was very buggy and didn't "work as expected" from old enderio... but at that time the conduits were a recent addition to the rebooted codebase and still a WIP, so that still is likely the case for redstone interaction. ... [just checked their github, and I think it's basically a non supported feature as yet ] * noted on their github is an outstanding WIP bug that the yeta wrench doesn't work properly yet-a [haha] anyway, so my suggestion above is moot. basically, if you loved old enderio, you might find a few missing parts and discrepancies yet in the new version, so caveat... um... googles for mining in latin... um... caveat fossor
The problem with the chest-to-chest issue is the fact that chest don't have a redstone input/output so the pipe doesn't connect to it, the same happened when he put the cobblestone in the line to explain about their connections. You have to force the redstone conduit to connect, with an empty hand clicking in the correct face should be enough, he had issue with the item conduit-to-Crude furnace because he clicked accidentally the wrong face. If you want the connection to the north you should click the face that's looking on the north.
I’ve been using Adobe’s AI voice enhancer up to episode 4. I think it both misses some pieces of words and interprets other sounds as words. So I end up with great sound - most of the time, until it staggers and chokes. For episode 5 (just released) onward, I’m only using deterministic algorithms for sound enhancement. I’ve concluded that AI sound enhancement isn’t quite there yet. Save it for truly awful sound that needs every bit of help it can get - then it is downright magical.
@@Nonsanity Ah I see, thanks for clearing that up. I don't think AI intervention helps you much in any way. :) Also: Holy !@#$! Ender IO cables are back!? At last! Those are my favorite cables and you demonstrated exactly why. How long was Ender IO development stuck in 1.12.2? Years right? Very pleased to see it finally caught up. ;)

That was my favorite thing about them: ease of use. Many of the other transport mods have more features, but it’s hard to beat its simplicity.
Best content creator! I try to follow along with so many peoples play through and they go mach 400 to ae2, then finish pack in 2 episodes
I only go fast to the things I want to get going earlier. :) And thanks!

You can turn the FoV effects off from speed in the qualities tab of your video settings
In newer versions you can see it in Accessibility tab FOV Effects and set it to 0
I think I prefer the Vacuum hopper because it collects experience from Mob Masher kills. Getting cursed earth as soon as you can really helps too.
Using both collectors seems to work well, one to grab the drops as quick as possible, and the other to get the experience. :)
^makes the system to consolidate items^ ^doesn't know where his items are^. Jokes aside, great series, and the RFTools thing is really cool for early game storage solution. I didn't know about that.
You can turn down FoV effects in settings to get rid of the speed motion blur. I think it's under accessibility options.

they added crying obsidian to a simple create spout+depot setup using obsidian and the already automated witch water for future viewers.

Can confirm, love the mekanism power conduits for early and mid game.
A line of mekanism cable and a flux point easily powers most machines.
Flux points, when directly attached, provide basically infinite transfer speeds. They are not too expensive to make, either. :)

I think you can press y while holding over an item and it will show what nearby inventories it's in?
I think I have a keybind conflict, because when I tested that (back before I had the storage scanner) it wasn't working.
Crying Obsidian made with Create mod. Witch water poured on obsidian with a Spout.
I know I've played with at least one mod that let ghast tears applied to obsidian make crying obsidian - not sure if that's a possibility here?
Is time in a bottle in this pack??
It is. Now that I’ve shown netherite ingots in an episode, I can make one. Though I don’t have many machines that would benefit from it yet. :)
