Hey Rachel! Can we get a video on student bank accounts and credit cards? I mean comparing the big 5 and talking about the fees while being a student and after graduating?
Currently I don't have time to make that video. But I can say that if you are planning to study in Canada, its better to start sooner. There are so many advantages to starting earlier. Border restrictions are slowly being lifted and schools are planning to reopen this upcoming September 2021.

I have a question, my program length is 2Years / 4 semester, but it ends December 2022 (for Sept 2021 intake), apparently I won't have a summer break. How long do you think my PGWP will be when I graduate?
Hi Rachel! Question. Did you use your own computer/ desktop while studying? Did you bought in canada or you brought it from the philippines? I'm really curious if I can bring a computer set in canada, like with printer and all. Or it is cheaper to buy it in there. Or like if it os necessary or important to have like a computer and printer with you while studying? Or a laptop will do. Thanks so much for your videossss. I love it so much! I am so excited to study in Canada this fall. I already got my visa stamp last week. 🥰❤️
I didn’t bring any electronics to Canada. I got my laptop here in Canada. Generally, electronics do you on sale quite a bit here. It may be a good idea to check out electronic stores such as BestBuy, Amazon or Walmart to find some deals before you get here.
Each college will have their own general entrance requirements. Each program with will have its own program entrance requirements. Its really hard to cover everything
So did you take a couple years off after high school (I think it’s called secondary school depending on where you’re from) to save up money so it’ll be easier living in Canada?
I really enjoyed this video😂👏🏻 You should really consider making more lifestyle videos like this one, it's really interesting to see Canada from the perspective of a foreigner. For example: "my experience living far away from your family" or "how I met my friends in Canada?" (you know, because supposedly people in Canada are really cold), maybe "things I miss about my country" or "differences between my culture and Canadian culture", or even "misconceptions I had before moving to Canada". But great video 10/10
HUGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always love reading your comments and your input. I feel like I know you personally some how but we never met. LOL. Because of your suggestion, I will be pumping out more lifestyle videos for students. I will take your suggestions into consideration. Again, I am a fan!
As a girl in a third-world country I cannot go outside easily bc of the safety And that made me not to be interested to be in public I registered for gym few days ago and everytime I wanna go there I get nerves I really want to imigrate but the sociopath stresses me out Ty for your informations that made me more confident
I want to go to Canada for my master's in linguistics but, to be honest, the entire process seems like it's going to be very overwhelming, still plan to do it of course, but the worries are still there.
same sir. I never tried renting a dorm or living alone. I can't imagine the idea of me living alone overseas with no one to rely on. Iniisip ko palang nakakakaba na.
I have made a video on living cost in Vancouver. Maybe some other time I can make a video cost comparison. I did a collab recently with I'm Canada to compare the cost between Vancouver and Halifax. Maybe check that out.
hi po ate rachel! i would like to ask if there's an edge, in post graduate work opportunities and such, if i would choose to study in a university than in a college. i really really love your contents and how you empower your viewers, not only technically but also emotionally 🥺❣️thank you very much po
Hi! I’m also planning to attend BCIT. Though i havent applied for a LOA yet 😅 I wonder if other programs have the same school hours? 9am-5pm? Because i’m planning to work 3x on weekdays and a day during weekends. I want a whole day off 😅

Thanks Rachel, great video as always! I have a background in web dev, do you think employers will employ international students and pay a standard salary based on my experience? Also it seems like most international students opt for skilled jobs more than professional ones, is there a reason for that?
No. My job at Foot Locker was not a skilled job. I worked there part time during my studies. I worked a skilled job after graduation and used that to apply for my EE profile
@@rrdancel thank you!! Do you happen to know if, after I finish my studies and start working n a PGWP, my job has to be the same thing I graduated in or does just anything in the NOC 0AB will work for my EE application?

I didn’t bring any electronics to Canada. I got my laptop here in Canada. Generally, electronics do you on sale quite a bit here. It may be a good idea to check out electronic stores such as BestBuy, Amazon or Walmart to find some deals before you get here.
@@rrdancel okay okay thanks so much. I'll check those out! 🥰❤️

We need feedback on how to apply to colleges in Vancouver
Love you 🌹
Each college will have their own general entrance requirements. Each program with will have its own program entrance requirements. Its really hard to cover everything
Hi Rachel I will be studying in university of Seattle this October do you know the place? Any recommendation to prepare?
So did you take a couple years off after high school (I think it’s called secondary school depending on where you’re from) to save up money so it’ll be easier living in Canada?
lodi!!
Can you make the VDO if you get sick in Canada please.
This is a really good question actually
As a girl in a third-world country
I cannot go outside easily bc of the safety
And that made me not to be interested to be in public
I registered for gym few days ago and everytime I wanna go there I get nerves
I really want to imigrate but the sociopath stresses me out
Ty for your informations that made me more confident
I enquired in BCIT.. They told me to take Business fundamentals program.. I couldn't understand.. Whats that.. Once complete that can get PGWP?
Hi I just asked what job you want when you graduate?
Wow you are fit. Most can afford people wear canada goose or arcteyx darn those are expensive
Those are pretty expensive but I guess the quality must be gooood 😂 cost per use!! 💕
Thanks~~~~
great video :)
Please make a video on MBA programs which is pgwp eligible
Hey im big fan, Can you pls make a video about living costs etc compared to other canadian cities? Is it expensive city?
I have made a video on living cost in Vancouver. Maybe some other time I can make a video cost comparison.
I did a collab recently with I'm Canada to compare the cost between Vancouver and Halifax. Maybe check that out.
hi po ate rachel! i would like to ask if there's an edge, in post graduate work opportunities and such, if i would choose to study in a university than in a college.
i really really love your contents and how you empower your viewers, not only technically but also emotionally 🥺❣️thank you very much po
Is it possible as a foreigner to move to US after you get Canadian pr or you get canadian citizenship. Pls answer if you know
Thanks~~~~
Hi! I’m also planning to attend BCIT. Though i havent applied for a LOA yet 😅 I wonder if other programs have the same school hours? 9am-5pm? Because i’m planning to work 3x on weekdays and a day during weekends. I want a whole day off 😅
Make sure you do not work more than 20 hours per week.
Hey Rachel, Thank you for these amazing videos which inspires me so much to come to Canada. So If you have time please suggest me some post grad design courses. ts glad to hear that you did Graphic design over engineering. I'm have a fashion design 1st degree. Thanks again
_Love from Sri Lanka
Hoping for a meet-up soon
I'm finally in Surrey!
Wow congrats for making it here! 🥰
Thanks 👍
You are very welcome.
Im enjoying watching your vlogs😍
It’s my dream to go in canada but I can’t afford to be a student🥺
If not now, then maybe one day!
@@rrdancel thank you! Be safe❤️
Hi very informative video...
May i ask how many days per week you attend to your school?
Hi dear! Back when I used to be a student, I attended school every weekdays! ☺️
Thanks Rachel, great video as always! I have a background in web dev, do you think employers will employ international students and pay a standard salary based on my experience? Also it seems like most international students opt for skilled jobs more than professional ones, is there a reason for that?
Was your job at foot locker the one you managed to add to your EE application? The NOC thing still confuses me 🤷🏼♀️
No. My job at Foot Locker was not a skilled job. I worked there part time during my studies. I worked a skilled job after graduation and used that to apply for my EE profile

Sansero, thats terrible way to advertise your channel. Better way is to create good content that people like to watch
@@rrdancel thank you!! Do you happen to know if, after I finish my studies and start working n a PGWP, my job has to be the same thing I graduated in or does just anything in the NOC 0AB will work for my EE application?
Hi Rachel, I’m planning to take a engineering related program in canada. Does studying engineering in canada harder than in the philippines?
