When Billie hit the All Done button, I lost it! LOLL ! She had given up! The buttons were not producing the results she wanted fast enough! Billie is so funny! I have never seen her meow that much. She didn't understand why everyone was home, but she wasn't getting attention. Very surprised she didn't press MAD.
I'm dealing with the same problem right now! I've been solidly at home for the past three months, yesterday I had outside obligations and I was gone for five hours and she let me know that she was not happy about it! Then she became extremely affectionate and all was forgiven.😾😺🐈⬛

EXACTLY👍!! Animals are VERY attuned to our body language and emotions. Her female alpha has been stressed and she wants to interact and give comfort. She's not throwing a hissy fit, she's offering comfort and love in her own way. 🤷.
Dad must have had a good reason to deny baby girl cuddles. It doesn't make disruptive noise to disturb the interview. Now I understand what a sacrifice and necessity it was to leave Florida. When Billi said “outside” I don’t think she meant outside the house. I think she meant for you to come outside the office. I could be wrong. But she also seemed to indicate that she knew you were “home” and she wanted you. Either way, I hope our clever girl got plenty of love after you guys were “all done” for the day. ❤

I love the courtesy and patience with which Dad, while also busy working, responds to everything Billi says; and I’m sure that’s the reason why her frustration isn’t expressed more loudly at Mom’s door. At least someone is hearing and understanding her say what she wants, and is telling her what’s going on, and that she’ll have to wait a while. My cat would have started World War III outside the office door the minute it was closed.
Her Madjesty showed much patience actually, lots of pacing and some words but not being mischievous. I have a cat that opens cabinet doors and lies down on ten words when he feels neglected. He throws a small tantrum. Not just “mad” but naughty. He doesn’t have to suffer that I’m gone off to work either, I’m retired. He doesn’t like when Dad goes to work for several days but he understands Mom is home almost always. Communicating those times Dad will be gone a longer time is helping him understand and accept it better. I’m confident that will be the case for Billi so she can understand the schedule will change. My condolences on the loss of your Dad. I can’t even imagine as I’ve still got both my Mom and Dad but that time is approaching. So sorry!

Billi is a national treasure. I am a retired middle and high school teacher, and she is better behaved and smarter than most of my students.
