What are your job prospects as an international student after obtaining an LLM from NUS? Harsh Mahaseth, an LLM graduate of NUS, gives us an insider's peek into post-LLM opportunities!
Harsh completed his LLM with a specialization in Asian Legal Studies from NUS, and his bachelor's degree in law from NALSAR University of Law, India. He also has a Diploma in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the Indian Institute of Governance & Leadership. His scholarly work is focused on Asia, with a specialization in South Asia and Southeast Asia.
He is currently working as a Lecturer at Jindal Global Law School, and a Senior Research Analyst at the Nehginpao Kipgen Center for Southeast Asian Studies, Jindal School of International Affairs. He is also a part of the Faculty Board for JGLS Pro Bono Publicus and a Faculty Advisor for the Jindal Society of International Law.
Harsh has published 22 international peer-reviewed academic journal articles in journals such as the Max Planck Encyclopedia of Comparative Constitutional Law, Oxford University Press, the Asian Journal of International Law, Contemporary South Asia, Asia Pacific Media Educator, International and Comparative Law Review, the Asian Journal of Legal Education, the Sri Lanka Journal of International Law, the Thailand Journal of International Law, the International Energy Law Review, the Stockholm Intellectual Property Law Review, and Economic & Political Weekly.
