I believe you can never control your thoughts but you can enforce good habits to have more positive ones. I struggle with intrusive thoughts and i can see that i cant control them when they come up but what i can control is how i respond to them everytime and i can control the fact that i dont have to react to them at all.
But yes i agree we control the words that come out of our mouths we have to think before we speak, not act out of our emotions and feelings but from our character (even if it's okay to feel, that's human), and we are responsible for our actions.
I wanted to say to you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I have had one of the worst years of my life, and I tried ending my life numerous times, so many times that even the Dt's at the hospital wondered how I could still be alive, but your songs have got me through the darkest moments of my life, and I am now on the path of healing, I have found the love of my life, and we will be getting married in the spring next year (2022)
Your songs allowed me to realize that I can survive anything, so thank you so much for helping me to hang in there.
