They’ve got to re-release Metropolis into theaters for its 100th anniversary in 2027! I’m not talking about a one-night Fathom Events thing, I’m talking about a *proper* theatrical re-release. Yes, you can watch the film for free right here on UA-cam, but please give people the world over the chance to see this landmark sci-fi film the way Fritz Lang originally intended, on the big screen in a movie theater. I know 2027 is still a ways off at the time I’m writing this, but I hope it happens. Metropolis is an all-time classic!
Unfortunately the dumbing down of audiences means that it would not be financially viable. It’s hard to believe that most people alive don’t know, and don’t care to know about, this classic.

An astonishing film that puts to shame many films from today's cinema. A landmark achievement.
Then again, it's a cinematic pioneer.

Easy rider and Hello Dolly! (1969) are as old in 2024, as Metropolis (1929) was when Moroder released his version in 1984.
Why was Pentagram prominent featured over Hal Robot. There also dance sequence which makes her appear like Woman of Babylon.
