1:33 BROOOO, i just had the same kinda experience.. Just asked a simple question in their website live chat (why theres a black mist filter for osmo pocket 3 but not for the air 3). The dude went off about "We wont do that, if we dont do it, other companies dont bother. Freewell is the only choice on the planet." I was like uhm, ok cool bro, close tab.
Lol. These are learning experiences that I take not of. Whether UA-cam or my own business I want to make sure service is on point. Communication is key. Something most companies lack.
Thanks for the vid. I was interested in the mist filter, only for sunset side lit photos I think that would look cool. If you get a chance would love to hear about your results. But alas Freewell wont/ dont sell the mist as a single. Don`t need the set. I have the 1000/ 2000 set. Got to say, I have taken some awesome photos with them, mainly the 1000. Rivers over rocks and waves breaking over rocks. Looking forward to seeing what you do with them.👍
Glad you enjoyed the video. It a shame you can't buy them separately. I really want Polarpro to make a set. My next video is literally about the ND1000 and 2000. I haven't done rivers and rocks but I did do city.
I just bought the Freewell Mega Pack and was a little disappointed to find that they just threw 3 cases of their various filters in a cardboard box. You get nothing different or extra from their regular filter sets. Not even a single case to store them all in at the same time. Weather has been so wet and completely miserable that i havent had chance to try them in anger yet. PS love your video, I found it really useful.
So I just opened the All Day 8 pack and did like the case, will be in my next video. Weather is tough at the moment as most days are windy or rainy and when it is suitable to fly it's gloomy. Try going before or after as it can make some great photos. Thank You also, glad you enjoyed the video 🍻
I just did a low light video recently around miami with the min 4 and would have liked a mist filter that one time, but i wouldnt use it ordinarily as like you say, it’s baked in so no going back. I tried long exposure shots with nd32 at night but the mini 4 maxes out at 2 seconds so couldn’t get the long stream of traffic lights very well. Also, i prefer to manually set iso to 400-800 in low light, how come you dont bother here?
Hey. ND32 is pretty high for night time long exposure. I found this too dark. I wanted to keep the test simple and left it in auto so it’s comparable. Normally I shoot pro mode with ISO 100. It really depends sometimes I take one of each and then pick the best one.
@@DimmyV ye it is tbf. Had to up iso to 400 to get shadows unclipped. For Video i find iso 800 max if enough artificial lights about. 1600 had no better details and just increased noise in the shadows. Shutter almost the same as the fps, if not equal. U just have to fly slowly to avoid excess motion blur from it being so low and bellow the 2x fps rule. This is on the mini 4 so no idea about the air 3 sweet spot with iso, but it should be a bit better with that stacked sensor compared to the 4
Fck freewell for making these filters only available in different packs for the most part
