I also changed my major because of God and my purpose. I went from nursing to early childhood education. Now I'm able to be creative with curriculum and be a teacher which has always been my passion.
Ahhh praise Jesus. God is good. I remember when God called me from Anthropology into Psychology. Then he gave me final confirmation to major in Sociology. Praise Jesus for it because he's been aligning my steps . Our acts of obedience matter to God.

This sermon is long overdue in the church especially these days a lot of voices are saying things that sound like theology but lack the backing of the power of the spirit! I also think there’s something to be said about Eli. The fact that He knew what the voice of God sounds like but was too comfortable in his chair. I believe Eli speaks to the Christians in church who have gotten so used to “church” that they have lost the awe and wonder of God’s presence and voice! Even after Samuel told him what God said about his family! There was no repentance….he just went back to doing whatever he did….what level of contempt/complacency could make someone get a warning but yet continue the usual routine! What scares me even more is anybody can be Eli(including me), once the awe and wonder about God and his word is lost, it welcome to the Eli season! God help us! 😢
