Testing out the viral YSL lash clash mascara. Does it live up to the hype?
BTW I don't find this hard to remove but I do find it to be messy if I'm only using my eye makeup remover. If I go in with my Colleen Rothschilds cleansing balm first it comes over super easy for me and not so messy.

This mascara is very nice on you. So glad that, as usual, you keep it real. I smile when I see women with AMAZING lashes after using mascaras when it's obvious that they have long thick lashes to begin with. I'm glad you like your lashes now. I remember LOL'ing so much when you used to say that your lashes are "bi*ches" Hugs from NYC.

I’ve had the YSL in brown for a few months now, and I love it, both the mascara and the color. My new daily go-to. Never wore brown before, but this is nice, dark enough brown that just adds a softness.
It's the perfect brown 🙌I picked it up after filming this and I actually like it better than the black as far as a color.
You look stunning, Anne! I bought this at the Sephora sale as a set- sent it back. Just did not work for me- very dry and crunchy. I like my lancome tient idole so much better… or for that matter even my maybelline sky high is better on me than this was. Thank you for always keeping it real❤️

Still using that black one ‘Bang’ you recommended. So good. I am one of those people with super long lashes that smudge my glasses. Like you I need thickness not length. The biggest issue for me is curl. I want my eyelashes to stay curled. Love the thin wand and you look great

@@MakeupForMatureSkin the only issue that makes me want to try others is that’s I prefer no clumping. Bang is great but it can clump. Not much To complain about otherwise.
@@MakeupForMatureSkin yes it is and you turned me on to it so is YSL any better. I love to have non clumping eyelashes. The pictures and your video show a nice eyelash and I love how soft and not stiff it looks. No clumps so in your opinion because I have a few mascaras is YSL as non clumping as it appears. I love how it looks online. Very flattering. I know we are supposed to get rid of them after a few months right? I have had some for well over a year. Is that good? 🤫

Anne, I agree I don't care for a large mascara brush either! Misses too many tiny lashes and often touches my lids and then I have cleanup. Frustrating when that happens!
Yes, why do they make them so big?
YSL with Dior mascara primer make my lashes look super long and full. Not spidery. People think I have fake lashes. I have decent/average lashes. I prefer a thinner mascara wand and slightly drier mascara consistency. Wet mascaras make my lashes droop/fall. YSL mascaras make my lashes curl up. The curl stays until I take it off. No other mascara does that for me. The brush was great not too thick or too thin. I think YSL mascaras r by far the best in the market. I’ve tried most if not all prestige mascaras. Drugstore mascaras have a wet consistency, smudge, flake or make my lashes droop down. They also make my lashes look thinner, drier, shorter and feel crispy/ crunchy. Thank you for your review. I like this mascara, but it seemed to dry out fast. Also I do not like big mascara brushes, it make it to hard to apply.
I absolutely love this mascara like Andre Ali a favourite 😊 I have long lashes & gives great volume but agree as it is so pigmented needs more attention to remove but I think the way it looks it’s worth it ❤

I have small eyes so large mascara wands are not good for me. When I do buy a full size mascara, I use your tip and use a smaller wand from a different mascara tube to apply my mascara. That’s made a huge difference to my mascara application.

You really created a nice look with the mascara! Same here...do not like a fat wand or big brushes. I like a nice medium size and a realistic brush on the end! Thank you for sharing this with us! I have thin lashes . They are finally a little longer after extensions (never again ) I love the RMS single liquid eyeshadows you recommended. I don’t use grande serum because of the ingredients.

Anne, so glad you got to go on a little getaway with your husband, we certainly could do with that at the moment, I just lost a dear sweet neighbour of mine that I’ve been caring for to help her daughter who lives interstate, it’s been a really tough time, we’ve been neighbours for almost 19 years and she was like a second Mum to me when my own Mum has Dementia and Delusions and I get verbally abused by her all the time, but out of something So Sad and Heartbreaking 💔, I’ve made a Wonderful friendship with her daughter and granddaughter and as you know, I got a little puppy 🐶 awhile ago but I was having trouble connecting with her after the loss of my little fur baby last year and I said No More, well her granddaughter was looking for another little fur baby to be friends with her other fur baby and my little Willow absolutely Loved the girls when they were here to help clean out their Grandmas home, so I sent little Willow home to Live with them and she is So Happy Living with a young family with children to play with, something we just couldn’t give her, like a friend of mine said to me when I was struggling with my decision, she said, We Rescued Her from a Bad environment and gave her a loving Life for her to be ready to move on to her Forever Family and that made me cry and know that I was doing the right thing for Her….she’s running around playing with the children, going for walks every afternoon and Loving her new environment, I can go visit whenever I want and I would Never Ever had given her to someone I didn’t know and Never be able to see her growing with a beautiful family, it just Warms My Heart 💓 knowing I did the Best for both of us..Much Love ❤️ from Nellie xoxo 😘🐶💓

I don't like the large mascara containers either!!
This mascara shortens my lashes and straightens them. I like bold volume. This smudges but is as difficult to remove as old waterproof. I thought I had a defective one based on reviews so I even went to exchange it😮. I have a great starting point.

Wow 🤩 Anne, I might just have to purchase that mascara, I’ve been looking for a good mascara and I really like the look of that one on your eyes, I also love your eyeshadow look today, I’m going out this morning and my Nikki bkbeauty brush set finally arrived yesterday and can’t wait to try them, I’m going to use my RMS blush on my eyes today but I don’t have the highlighter YET Lol 😂, I’ll purchase that when I purchase the mascara. I might have to try it but right now I can't put the tower 28 one down. I love it because one maybe two coats and my lashes look amazing. I'm seeing lashes I didn't even know I had. LOL you might not like that one because two coats and it starts getting to be too much.
