New Albany indiana, is slowly becoming into Louisville Kentucky hence we're right over the bridge from louisville. We got a family tree and a dollar general across the street from each other
I lived in the hood, but owned the house. I took care of it, kept the grass cut, pulled weeds out, new windows, new fence and all…..most likely if the house is decent or nice, that person owns it, paid off…..the problem is, these people’s houses become a target…..sometimes saving money will cost you much more in the long run.
I think this the one place where the hurricane actually helped the neighborhood not harm tearing down old dilapidated buildings that don't need to be there and think about it for one day one day!!!! New Orleans was at a all time low in crimes
That’s true but even at a all time low you better got check the murder rate they was 1 One a few weeks ago I think the at 2 or 3 since the storm hit..the city is still in the top 3 for highly murder rate in the U.S even at its low peak
You never go to the calliope magnolia st Thomas iberville projects you always riding by the melph projects ik tge rebuild them but those area are still dangerous
I bet nobody saw those two D boys behind that fence on Josephine looking at the vehicle that was not familiar..Up to no good..Damn my city's messed up man🙈🙉🙊

The democrat ran areas make America essentially a failed state. But I'll give the democrats a fair shake. The people are also responsible for their neighbourhoods being is such shambles. I feel no sympathy for the people of this neighbourhood. that is exactly what they wanted and voted for. Couldn't help but notice there is a newer car in most driveways.

You uptown! I see the Guste High Rise Apartments.
11:01 - A Dollar General & Family Dollar right next to each other means you are in a hood !
This combo is also scattered all around the country parts. We don't have Walmart's so they build those

Thank you, Charlie!! blessings to everyone 🤍
Rockin with you from Italy🇮🇹 🇮🇹 keep up the work, this shit that is going on is insane
Hurricane Ida didn't do much damage to New Orleans. All it did was knock the power out for 2 weeks. Houma and Morgan city received the brunt of it
New Orleans always gets all the attention. Whitie don't count.
Pray for those who suffered in New Orleans after Ida. 🙏
It's interesting that there are homes that are quite nice amongst the squalor and blight of those neighborhoods.
Alot of those spots never recovered from Katrina .Shit is crazy
New Orleans must have a hurricane every night
0:31 Street name WARFIELD checks out!
Some of those house's are darn nice for being in the hood ! Guess it matters how much pride you have
Man fall back... WTH that supposed to mean

Being honest that neighborhood was probably already in rough condition. As a native of this city it is notorious for blight.
What neighborhood is this? Gentilly? New Orleans East? Just curious.

Looks more like a sharecroppers' houses you'd expect to see in the MS delta than a major city.
Those little tight alleys were giving me anxiety 😳!!

Bless these people! Hard working folks never give up 🙏🙏
It looked like that before Ida
You need to go to Plaqumines parish snd Lower Jefferson parish. Golden Meadow, Houma.
Hurricanes are not the worst thing that happened to new Orleans
looks like some never recovered from hurricane katrina
If a fella had a bucket loader with a dump truck and 2 men could make some good money cleaning up.
That new Starbucks seems a little out of place for a low income area.
It won’t for long . The city gentrified . This not New Orleans
A starbucks is the liberal hipsters way of planting a flag in the neighborhood. Gentrification is coming
Some of this destruction must be from previous hurricanes.
Hope you brought some hurricane relief and not just recording
Where did all the Teslas go? The wind took it away?
1 guy raking some water, LMAO
I just saw something in this video i have never seen before, a black man using a rake!!
Ida said, looks like I been here before
hoods actually looked better after the hurricane hit
Because of the green grass that's why.
I hope everybody's okay and safe
@10:15 "Why us?!"
Not one person picking up shit to rejuvenate, interesting . . .
It was in the high 90s and 90% humidity with no A/C and no ice in the city, going out to do yard work was a really good way to get heat stroke.
No place like new Orleans baby❤✊🏾 black Cultural city
i want to visit but problem is that im white

I like that Ida tags the houses she took out.
dang all that was flooded
Hurricane Ida didn't flood New Orleans
They were sideswiped by IDA, it doesn't look like a direct hit. 🌀
