Excellent interview. Thanks for posting. This was really a true candid chat with Nancy and James. Best explanation I have heard from James in regards to the end of LCD. Thank you LCD for all of the beautiful music.
ever since i heard Yeah (pretentious mix) my love for LCD snowballed. it all started with the Yeahs and 6 months later i found myself loving every piece of LCD work and really trying to understand the concepts behind all these magnificent words and rhythms and genre mixing. now, i can only crave for more content i can fill up my soul with. i've been finding out about Nancy's projects and they're awesome too, but imagine a brand new LCD album, that'd be something out of this solar system!
the best parts about interviews with James Murphy in them are the distinctive quips and remarks, like at 2:55: "I was in Los Angeles. It's like Barcelona but filled with more douchebags." in another timeline James is a comedian.
Dude, how the HELL did you manage an interview with these greats? I'm catastrophically jealous, and I think you did a great job, especially considering it's outside your normal skill set.

+Mau Mou So you're in the Pretentious Mix camp, huh? I'm leaning towards the Crass Mix myself. But either way, Yeah!
+Jason McHenry (ʎzɐɹɔʇuǝʍuosɐɾ) OMG SO LOOKS LIKE THEY'RE RELEASING A NEW RECORD. UHH YES.
yeah, both of them are crazy good. all-time favs.
+Mau Mou Oh. I know it. And, yeah, it's pretty exciting alright.
You ever listen to Whitey? If not then do that soon. Same degree of terrific.
+Jason McHenry (ʎzɐɹɔʇuǝʍuosɐɾ) I have not listened to whitey. Is it another band of a similar genre?
You got one! 2 years later

Have to say, I love how James Murphy always refers to his music as "weird things".
Nancy isn't the guitarist, she plays keyboard - Moog!
