Awe, my daughter broke a growth plate at 3yrs old in her wrist and t h e pediatric ortho said at that age they heal quickly, and it did with no issues. She's 38 now!

Please pray for the workers who are still missing and presumed deceased in the Patapsco River in Baltimore, MD due to the massive bridge collapse. The cargo ship was headed to Sri Lanka and lost power, crashing into and collapsing this 1+ mile long bridge. I live less than an hour from the bridge and have used it over the years. 🙏🏻💔
My son a truck driver was on that bridge just last week. Thankful there weren't more casualties. I hope they find everyone.
I live in MD and have driven that bridge many many times. I've been praying for the lost construction workers. Many prayers are needed for their families and loved ones.

They'll put a drain pipe at the base of the wall and put sand above since it's well draining and they don't want coarse stone to damage the pipe. The forms are what you called the trays that they used to form the basement walls. I'm excited for you!

My son broke his leg when he was 18 months old. He slipped on a piece of drawing paper that was on the floor and landed badly. He was in a plaster cast for 6 weeks and I've spent the last 30 years being paranoid about paper lying around. My daughter broke her collar bone when she was 9 and was playing football in the park. Took a tumble and landed on her shoulder. So I've got 2 kids and had 2 broken bones. I reckon your record of only 3 is amazing, just like your gorgeous family. ❤
Big families are the best Solo and Sarah, there is always someone to play with Peace there, she is never bored and plus your older children are getting in the practise when they have families of their own, you have great children guys

Sarah, what are you planning on doing with the 'small house' after you move into the big house? I hope you guys choose to keep it! My in-laws have a similar situation at their house and they've rented it out to their kids at a reduced price to help each of us save for a home of our own. It was a tremendous blessing!

When my daughter was 4 she slipped on some plastic like paper a Store Manager had thrown on the floor while unpacking products.
Anyhow she fractured her growth plate in her ankle/foot. Like Peace, she wouldn’t sit still 🤣
They are So resilient.

Growing up in Omaha in the fifties we once had a blizzard clear into may...almost June. My sister came down with pneumonia and we had to call an ambulance. The snow was up at the waist and the driver could not make it the last few blocks so they came down and guided my parents with my baby sister back to the ambulance. We were left home ,,,we young kids ... and the electricity went out and we only had oatmeal to eat in the cupboard and ate that for a week till my parents could get back home. Was a cold week and did not eat oatmeal for years after.

Sarah, you might take a look at Becky at Acre Homestead's freezer meal videos. She's got great ideas and gets 25-30 meals done in one morning of cooking. Requires some pre-planning, but as she says, those freezer meals come in handy for days when she has no time to cook a meal for dinner. She does breakfast, lunch and dinner meals and all are things I think your family would like, based on how you all eat (meat, lots of veg, rice, potatoes, etc... and GREAT baked oatmeal & breakfast sandwiches.)

My daughter broke her growth plate in her knee when she was around 5. She was put in an immobilization splint for awhile. They didn't cast her so she could bathe. Healed up great. She is now 10 and has no problems or growth discrepancies. Feel better Peace!
