You will never see another band using so much pyro etc as Rammstein, it’s literally ‘over the top’ pyro metal theater. Every song has its own pyro/specials effects routine. At this moment the band is still touring the Stadium Tour cyclus. What you saw in this video is a fraction of what they currently show in the Stadium Tour Show. The setlist has changed cause they released new material, but the scale and scope is megalomenia. I saw them 4 times, the last 2 this Stadium Tour show. You have no idea what you are in for if you have not seen and felt it in person! Till Lindeman, the singer is a certified pyrotechnician.
The lyrics are full of hidden gems (if you understand german). Sometimes in jest, sometimes cynical. The official video material is very high quality, but not for the fainthearted 😎. They have been around for a long time. Still the original line-up. Pronunciation of the band name: Ram (‘a’ as in car) styne (as in style). Hope that helps.
It must be something special when a German band that also sings in German has been filling stadiums all over the world for three decades!

The singer Till Lindemann develops all the phyrotechnics, he is trained and has the highest possible license to develop such things!! The other band members also have licenses, not as high as Till, but everyone knows what's going on and they can all handle it!!

Rammstein are 6 members, they are together seems nearly 30 years
All members where grown up in the former DDR or East Germany
They where founded after the German reunion
All members have equal rights, means nothing goes out, with all 6 haven't given the ok
Till Lindemann always sings German, exept a few sentences here and there
They are a hard rock -metal-electronic band, they have practically their own chore
They are probably the best live band there ever was, spoiler alert, all members are pyrotechnican 🔥💥
Their videos are masterpieces, as you just saw and the song texts are meaningful, controversial or they tell dark story
Rammstein never explained and probably never will, explain any of their songs,as they literally said, that anyone should be able, to see what they want in their songs,so keep in mind, any explanation you will see, is not from the band
And last, Rammstein has a very solid and world wide, huge fan base, you need to learn how to say Rammstein, think how you say Einstein 😂❤

I have been a fan since they started in 1994 (my husband is German) and it has been amazing to see how they have developed. I started going to concerts/festivals in the 1970s and have seen some of the greats, Zeppelin, Sabbath, AC/DC, Genesis etc. but nothing compares to a live Rammstein show. Everyone should have it on their bucket list. I saw them last year in the UK and apparently they could be heard 11 miles away!! I know I was vibrating for three days. Most amazing band ever.

@@anjizetland-von-kiesel3346 with experiences like that under your belt that are priceless! The music that was current as I was growing up just pales in comparison 95% of the time. They won’t be talking about them 20 years from now, yet alone remaining extremely popular among audiences that course some 5+ generations, and going strong. There’ll never be another Janis Joplin, Morrison live on Ed Sullivan singing the “sexiest song” of the time and of course including the strictly forbidden and highly taboo line “girl we couldn’t get much higher”, jim Croce, Hendrix experience. I got to see godsmack and System of a Down when they were still pretty new and both were incredible but you can’t compare. You guys definitely win in the music dept, hands down.
frontman Till Lindemann actually had stage fright for a very long time! He's a licensed pyrotechnician, and monitoring the fire effects helped him to keep busy and distract his attention from the crowd watching him

I always point out songs where they actually say Rammstein in several reaction videos I have watched. Might come of as rude but I cringe so hard everytime I hear someone pronounce it as Rammstine.

The best way to experience Rammstein for the first time is by watching them live. They are phenomenal musicians, and each show is built to please their fans. Extreme things happen on stage, like fire, but they know what they are doing. One of their best pyrotechnics uses in "Feuer Frei." If you have the chance, you should definitely check it out.
Lead singer, Till, put the pyro show together. This band is very well synched so no one gets burned. They know exactly what they are doing all the time.
Go for their "Rammlied" performance from Madison Square Garden, you will get how to pronounce their band name

Great reaction guys! I saw them live this year in Poland and their show is amazing. It was their second show there on a Monday, but the stadium was packed. That bazooka stunt in an open air stadium with 4 pillars with giant flames on top is insane. Besides the live shows, check out the video for “Deutschland” which is a musical masterpiece as a summary of Germany history.

Rammstein has always been massive on scene show and especially pyro/fire - originally the lead singer (Till Linderman) did it but after an incident in 1996 they decided involve a professional pyrotechnician but Till Linderman got a pyrotechnician license! so he could still heavily involved. On the practical side Till is believed to be heavily involved in the original design for the tour together with the expert, and then for a specific show show there's the band's decidated Pyro technician, the venue's specialist (if they have one) and fire marshal that negotiates how much and what kind of pyro/fire/cryo/... that can be done. And yes, Rammstein has been known to drop venues over "can't get permission for enough pyro".
AFAIK the red flares shooing out over the public and the white "return" flares are on wires to make it safe (so the red ones doesn't actually come from Till's contraption), and it's all then sync'ed with the explosion, so yeah, must be on time track. For another example of over-the-top pyro but in a very different way I'd recommend Rammstein - Engel (Live from Madison Square Guarden).

Rammstein rules ..... Till (lead singer), is a licensed pyrotechnician and designed the fireworks. Their stage show is off the charts .... seen them twice in concert. All the band members are buff, aggressive, and incredibly talented.

Till is a licensed pyrotechnician and does everything himself.
good old rammstein, till (the singer) is actually the one in charcge of the pyrotechnics, after an incident back in the days where he got burnt, he majored in it and now he is n charge of all that. also back in the days, they werent alowed to play near airports as pilots (without knowing about the shows) would call the tower and inform there were fire and smoke near the airport

For correct pronunciation of "Rammstein" hear their song "RammLIED" - there they sing it for you. :)
Basically the German "ei" should be said as English "I" and the "st" like "sht" ("sh" like in "ship") and the "a" like "ah" in "Utah".

The band is still in in original setup since 1994.

The Mastermind as you guys put it is Till Lindeman himself. The whole thing has two starting points. One in the start of their careers Till was extremely shy and self conscious and he actually used to wear painted black out glasses on stage. Best thing to draw attention from him was pyrotechnics but at some point there was a freak accident which prompted him to study pyro and he became a certified pyro tech as did the band too as precaution to future mishaps. He was the one that designed everything and their gear for maximum safety for them and the people. He has stopped now and has build a reliable team to manage them but still oversees things(you guys haven't seen anything yet regarding the pyro and how crazy it gets!). They need over 70 trucks if not more to transfer everything and everything is meticulously designed by Till. The first few meters in front of the stage is called the Fire Zone for a reason. Also if you noticed all the band member look shinny, it's not sweat it's actually fire retardant because the heat is seriously intense!

They hire a consulting company for the pyrotechnics, however frontman Till Lindemann is a licensed pyrotechnician and is heavily involved. He acts like the project manager when it comes to the kind of effects Rammstein wants on stage. He also handles a lot of pyro materials himself, as you can see in other videos such as Benzin, Angel, Ich tu dir weh and many other songs.
Seeing them live is an otherwordly experience, especially if you stand in the FeuerZone (fire zone) right in front of the stage!

Rammstein (pronounced Rammshtine btw)....this vid was 12 yrs ago. I saw them in Montreal 2022, they have only amped up the show since. THEY ARE PHENONEMAL LIVE. It doesn't matter if you speak or understand German.They were all born in East Germany, when it still existed. They formed in 1994, and the band lineup has NEVER CHANGED. Same six guys who founded it back then are still in it today. After a slightly disastrous performance in 1995, Till Lindemann (vocalist) got his license as a pyro tech. I am pretty sure he has some say about the pyro! That cannon for Du Hast now shoots about 10 flares. Du Hast, by the way. is about a marriage proposal - a girl is asking a guy to marry her and he says NEIN!!! Oh and yes they did tour with KISS back in Mexico in the day. They are still huge there.

No doubt Rammstein are great German band, but the best and most exciting to come out of Germany in last year or so is "Electric Callboy". Fantastic mix of metal, EDM, and pop... yes it is possible to put them all together. Gotta check out "Hypa Hypa", "We Got The Moves", or "Pump It" will surely drive traffic to your page!!

Sorry... but Kiss are poor preschoolars compared to Rammstein. Rammstein is one of the most famous metal bands and living legends with the same line-up for nearly 30 years. Their stadium tour is the greatest metal/rock show on the road in these days. They are a german band and are considered the best live band in the world by far, especially when it comes to showmanship, pyro and fire. Rammstein don't have their roots in metal but in punk, which many people don't know. See also haircut of Till Lindeman. Above all, Rammstein uses pyro quite differently than all other bands. There is no blood on the arms, but fire protection gel. . Rammstein concerts are sold out in minutes, no matter where they are performed. Till Lindemann is certified as a pyrotechnician and that's why Rammstein concerts around the world are rarely limited, not even in the USA. But after a Rammstein concert you can buy a T-Shirt written on it: I survived Rammstein. The Rammstein Stadion Tour is the greatest rock/metal show on the road in these days. Rammstein transports 1,350 tons of equipment for example for the stadium tour in Amerika. 7 Boeing 747 aircraft and 70 trucks are needed to move this mass of cargo. The stage on which Rammstein make hell for the fans is 61 meters wide. It is 30 meters deep and almost 37 meters high. 300 people travel permanently with the band to ensure that everything runs smoothly. In each city, 260 - 400 people also help to set up the stage. The construction of the steel colossus, which Rammstein calls "stage", takes 7 days.
Rammstein's music is a mixture of techno (electronic music) and metal (= industrial metal). Rammstein concerts are a life time experience that you will never forget. Their videos are art but also often controversial.
Rammstein also refers to classical German literature, e.g. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's. I saw them live a couple years back in the UK. Eben about ten rows back you can really feel the heat from those flames, especially on 'Sonne'

He sings the first verse on the album. He has the balls to just allow the crowd to start the live set. He did it in Dallas too and we don’t speak German. The crowd was just as loud as Paris. Best concert I have ever been too by far . I have been to 100s. One guy said better than MJ Bad Tour even.

Hey, Rammstein are Pros in regards of Fireworks, they are not burning themselfs like your amateurs (for example Michael Jackson) only because they have one Flamehead on the whole Stage and your golden Voice simply has to step into it. Rammstein uses more Pyro in one show then all of your Looperstars in a hole year. BTW German Sniper-tek rulZZZZZZ.
The "s" in Rammstein must sound like the "sh" in "sh-iver" or in "sh-ining". Or like in "sh*t". 😉
And "ei" must sound like "I" or the "y" in "my".

The words are the same, he is just having the crowd sing it. The song is about how a person can be loyal to their country, spouse, friends etc. but that does not mean they will be the same in return. The red stuff on them is fire retardant gel. The band is German, and they only sing in German. RammShtahyin. Til Lindemann, the lead singer, is a certified pyrotechnician, as are the rest of the band.
