Thanks so much for this! This will definitely help a lot.
Excellent tutorial, brief and to the point. Lets hope I can get the aircraft sim to do act in the same way you did.
Some US airports have odd approaches or departures that require manual vectoring (as in real life), but *most* flight plans can be automated in this way - especially in Europe
Almost did, unfortunately it was heavy crosswind and i forgot to turn off app mode wich didn’t let me made the go around and… yeah i stalled some meters after runway… luckily didnt fall in a house.
Helful!

Best tutorials to get into a plane and just fly! Have you done a tutorial for Salty's 747?
Salty is no longer required or recommended since the default was updated to the version shown on this video
@@TiJayFLY so you would consider this current version better than Salty's?
I don’t have a FF in the flight plan for the mcdu, do you know how i can fix this?
A lot of airports outside of Europe don’t. Just set your bottom of descent to approx 2000ft above airport elevation
Does anyone know why when I click on legs in the fmc it doesn’t show any flight levels and also there are no v speeds on the takeoff section of the init ref. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
Could someone please tell me if the 747 is broken at the moment as for the life of me i cannot get a decent flight from her. Cheers
Yup it’s working fine since this update. Uninstall *any* Working Title or Boeing mods (salty, compatibility pack etc) you have as it’s probably a mod conflict

Thanks mate, it's been rattling my head. Would I also uninstall liveries for the 747
@@Paul-mg7bh I would at least make sure they’re up to date and certified as working with the latest update - all that info is on the relevant download page if you got them from flightsim.to
You might want to stay on the center line a bit more after touchdown.
Rollout is now automatic - this was actually recorded in the beta version where auto rollout wasn’t implemented yet and I was testing it
I selected the runway I wanted to land and the ils frequency didn't show up in the nav radio. To be fair it was a very long flight from Frankfurt to Toronto that I planned. Maybe it needs to be closer to the destination in order to show up?
You hands down make the best flight sim tutorials on here, Thank You!
Means a lot, thank you!
