    Thanks for all the info on your videos! Quick question.
    So I'm using C02 mags in my M4 while I wait for my GG mags to come in. I've dh modded one mag so far.
    When using C02 bulbs I get one bulb per mag. There's still a tiny bit left over but I purge the mag and there isn't much left.
    I just realized I've been over filling my dh modded mag by filling for 10 seconds.
    Is my gas consumption normal or is it using a lot more than it should?
    I bought the rifle used but as far as I know it's bone stock.
    Only mods I've done is the ratech adjustable npas nozzle and dropped a TNT kit in.
    I have the nozzle open to shoot about 1.7J with .32s.
    Im still playing with different bb weights to see what shoots the best.

      @xtonicsabbyx642 congratulations on your gbbr and way to go with the DH mod.
      I usually fill my mags around 15 seconds, on a rare occasion even up to 20 seconds. I get one good mag and then it’s slowing down pretty good. My set up is very heavy thought, what your issue might be is that especially in summer when the mags warm up it’s harder to fill them up with co2. What I do I cool them down by letting the co2 out and sometimes I have to refill them and empty them I had to do that on my old Ghk AR mags and still have to on my Ghk Ak mags. An other thing what can help too is I’m using a 5 pound co2 tank to fill my mags up. It’s cheaper to refill it at a designated CO2 refill station then going to the paint ball stir and getting those lill Tipman tank filled up. Although that works too that’s what I do when I’m busting family in Europe. Those tipman tanks don’t last too long like for about 20 mags. Then you are going to have to start really coming down the mags to fill them up. I have 5 tipman tanks and usually I run through like 1,5 - 2 tanks. When they are half empty that’s when they start not filling up the mags as much as they should. The 5 pound tank since it’s bigger there the need of cooling the mags down isn’t that big. But even the 5 pound tanks when it’s getting half empty the filling isn’t the best. Typically lasts me for about 2 full days of playing. Mind you it’s cheap 20$ to fill it up and I run with 10 mags I shoot a lot.
      The 5 pound tank you can buy on Amazon
      He ever that can be a lill tricky since not every station fills smaller tanks 5 pound included. The other option is, you give them a deposit and then when ever you come in you leave that empty tank and pick up a full one.
      The bb weights, that a whole other thing on its own. Been playing around with bbs weights my self and still haven’t found one I’m crazy about. From 0.30g to 0.49g, you have pros and cons, depending on your play style, what you need to get out of it, we you playing CQB or out doors, do you need more range, do you need them to puncture better through brush and branches or do you need them to be faster or more accurate????? And so On and so on. I like 0.32g and I also like 0.49g depending on what weight I use I change my play style a lill bit.
      The tnt set up was a great choice.

    What about VT nozzle? does the 18mm one fit inside GHK bolt carrier? I really would like to know about it.

      @TomiHarley  Рік тому

      @Holanduzo That is a great question I love how you think. Sadly I can’t help you there I do not have a GHK AR. The nozzle is 85.8mm long.
      Well here is something interesting for the first time I have actually measured the smaller and the bigger nozzle I thought the smaller one is 16 mm and I thought the bigger one is 18 mm but it turns out that the smaller nozzle diameter is 20.7 mm and the bigger nozzles diameter is 22.7 mm
      The diameter of the back pain that holds it in place is 9.4 mm.
      I’m not sure if with the GHK the retainer plate is out of plastic. My worry is if it is made out of plastic the much heavier aluminum nozzle with the back part that is made out of steel will destroy the retainer pan/plate on your bolt carrier.

      @@TomiHarley Thanks for your reply, Im trying to make my GHK the most metal and hard as possible (7075 forged receiver, steel hop up chamber) and I think VT nozzles are just a piece of art, so I decided to go to GHK because in a technical view they are better designed than VT, but worse materials, thats why Im making my GHK bombproof, and I think the final touch is the VT nozzle... so Im glad you replied, GHK nozzles are 18mm wide but the... joint part? is offset of the center, maybe I will just get a VT nozzle and hope it works. Thanks tomi and cheers from Spain.

      @@Holanduzo my suggestion, sell your Ghk and get yourself a Vipertech, with all the money are are spending you’ll be at the price range of a viper and over most likely. They start at around 900~1000$.
      The forged aluminum receiver you are talking about the 7075 I have heard it’s not even that strong and the quality isn’t even that great. ( mind you I have heard that from only one person, I haven’t had one or even seen one)
      Then the whole built quality of a viper, check out the torture tests they are with watching. The details they have put in, the feel, the crips trigger it’s so amazing. I held a Ghk AR, I shot with it too and it feels and looks more toyish compered to a viper. Their magazine are also incredibly well build and super easy to work on. The Vipertech platform is the best especially for the devils mod. It can with stand abuse to the highest level of all gbbrs.
      Now I wish I was close to you to hand you one of my Vipertechs so you can see how it looks feels and shoots. Why am I writing you all this? I want you to get the best you can with not losing money. I know your mind is set you have a plan, think take a second thought and see what really makes most sense to you. Add all the numbers together and see what the difference would be.
      Ghk is a good platform, that’s the mid class but if someone is ready to spend that much money on a Ghk, I like them having all the info they can and see like I said what makes most sense a Ghk or viper.
      You said something interesting, that the Ghk has a better design, could you elaborate more on that? Maybe there is something I don’t know.
      I love learning to things.

      @@NeoMartel that is a great question I don’t know if it fits in the VFC, my apologies, but I can’t find my measuring tool. I was going to measure the HopUp unit for you so that you could see if it fits.

      I know new GHK hop up units fits to VFC rifles like BCM and i hear is good hop up units.

    • @TomiHarley
      @TomiHarley  5 місяців тому

      @@NeoMartel fantastic that’s some valid information right there. I would assume that the vipertech hop up unit would fit inside the VFC hop up Chamber since it does fit inside the Ghk hop up chamber. How ever it also depends how your feed ramp is on your Vfc barrel extension. It could be too short too long too steep that could cause some issues just be mind full of that. But you could try it the hop up unit is cheap like 30-40$ and it’s out of steel. To where the tnt or maple leaf is made out of weak aluminum and it’s almost double the price.
      If it doesn’t fit, don’t be too bombed out about it, because that is a risk you have to be willing to try to do. I myself have ordered various parts. I was experimenting trying to find the best fit the best solution. What’s most reliable and I have a bunch of parts that , I have no use and wasted money.
