I always end up coming back to this video. The pure joy I felt from playing Farcry 5 for the first time. It's still my favorite game in the series. It made me realize how far gaming has come with how well dune engine ran the game.
This song really have a special feel to it. The song name "Now That This Old World Is Ending" is very fitting. It feels sad, like the time of an era is over and we are waiting for the end, and at the same time celebrating the time gone by with the song. For me that became literally the case with Far Cry 5 and this song, since me dad died during the time I played this game.
When you wake up in the morning, you see the same UA-cam videos that I do. Do your eyes not fill with joy? This is the world? This is the world we’ve built for our children? It is and it’s musically inclined.

I remember after coming back home from fighting fires, I would sometimes put my earbuds in the back of the fire bus riding through the Forrest surrounded by trees that would touch the clouds. Fire smoke lay in the valleys as I saw an ambient glow of chaos I'm the distance, and when I would get closer you can smell the pines freshly burn, seeping into the nomex. I would pray to God to keep me and my crew safe before fighting my potential last fire. This song was bliss and get me motivated, I would get so hyped to go out amd hike mountains when trees would implode shooting embers everywhere. I would hear this when cutting line, the happiest I was in life
At the 5 year anniversary year i wanted to come back to this video. This game will always be my comfort game. It reminds me of home and the Americana stories i grew up reading and always makes me smile.
