@@2034niko in this meta it was a lot different, in the early days of smite you could snowball so much easier and even if you trolled once or twice the enemy team didnt have enough farm or obj on the map to even catch up. S1 was all about who controlled mid camps
I remember watching these games live. I was so fucking happy for him and the whole team. That was the best smite I had ever seen. Might still be to this day and it still makes me happy today. "Like taking kid from a candy!" 😂
Adapting is an absolute monster. Ngl though, every member did alot in those team fights. Watching it go down is like they're in perfect harmony or something
I remember watching this. A highschool kid, having started Smite during August of that year; finding out there is a pro league and desparately trying to learn all the player's names and the gods they played. Worlds comes around and then this set. I was in awe that this sort of stuff is even possible. What a fuckin set and what a fucking team Epsilon was. I miss Yammyn and Dimi in the SPL :(
They should just remake Smite at this point. Too much spaghetti code causing too many issues, and bad servers are making this game feel terrible to play. Smite 2 when?
Adapting is the goat but I’ll never get the sound of COG winning in season 1 out of my head. And it was MLC St3alth, the guy who got me into the game, my fucking smite hero lmao
Thank you once again for these types of videos. I think this was a great idea and well executed. Sort of like a "greatest sets" but focusing on a player popping off
I remember watching this and yes while adapting did great. I think the main reason was because raffer. That guy had some amazing clutch revives and shields for adapting.
Been waiting for you to cover this set. I remember watching this series in my bed room, mesmerised by the pure skill of these teams. Doesn't hurt that there's such a sexy voice over 😉
I remember watching this live and just feeling ripped off with the finals match after watching that C9 Epsilon game. But damn was that some good smite.
That Bellona ult by dimi was so huge at 13 minutes made Emiil be able to pull of all his damage and allow adapting to mop all the carries cuz cloud 9 panicked
My mans got both of his Titles in the Community in 2 best of 5s in one Tournament; AdaptKing and Thordapting. He had such a good run in that Tournament, He just Saved the Secret Sauce until it mattered as is Wise to do.
I would love to see season 3 Orbit Vs Flashpoint, the game that sent Luminosity to worlds. That game had me on the edge of my seat because Orbit didn't even need to try their hardest, they were already eliminated, but they gave it their all.
Can anyone explain to me how the fuck at 14:50 Fenrir's 1 was back up in like 3-4 seconds after leaping? I don't remember it ever being that low... It's like playing a cd game mode of the day lol
Back in the day when you upgraded beads to tier 3 they decreased cooldowns by 3 seconds flat, so combine Adapting's cdr, the fact fenrir jump has its cooldown halfed if you hit the jump, then add beads in, and you're hopping around like a madman
Watching the games live really showed how jung diff they were. Adapting was pretty much no factor in the first three and absolutely went off the last two. There was nothing they could do
I honestly think it was the 5 members Inmortal season. Raffer, Emilito and Dimi have never had a better season than that one. And Yammyn in my opinion still to this day is the best mid laner ever. Shame he retired so early.
Off topic to this video but i'm begging you to do a history of the Titan Vulcan skin someday. PrettyPrime deserves more respect, even just for the fact he is untiltable.
That’s true but remember, these teams scrim and study each other all year. They make those bans because they know who is really fearsome to let them get their hands on.
This may be Adapting Immortal game but can I just say iRaffers support play during these was amazing. His peel and shield/revives were on point
Was gonna say the same thing. That is by far some of the best khep I've seen
Khepri was also bloated af during this
@@MaKingxPlays very factual and Fenrir jump cooldown was like 2s shorter as well and adapting didn't waste a single one lol
@@malikcox9309 it was just a comp diff tbh, they had the worst mu into fen
when I wasn't sure if I wanted to start playing smite. My friend to convince me showed me this game, 6 years later, its the only game I play lol
Ouf I felt that, deleted it same day I downloaded, went back a week later and 5 years later here we are
Same
Smite got that love hate relationship that makes you wanna come back without destroying your mental health.
I always come back to smite no matter what game I break too
@@Damnthatscrazy- Same I went from getting 0 kills in arena to carrying my trash low elo ranked teams.
SOMEONE’S GOTTA STOP ADAPTING IN THE BACKLINE HE’S GONNA KILL EVERYBODY
Remains my favourite commentary line in Smite history. Goosebumps.
The narration at the beginning gave me goosebumps
DM - 'Zap, tell me about comeback potential
Zap - 'There is none'.....
pros always say how it is lol
He looked so freaking young though! 😂
funny how his mindset changed, seeing that last worlds his team made some incredible comebacks

6:06 can we talk about how great of a play this was by Raffer? The res and the IMMEDIATE peel.

this was the the time where I really got into smite, season 2 swc was hype as shit, game felt extremly fun to play, good stuff all around
Same. Felt apart of something beautiful..
They should just remake Smite at this point. Too much spaghetti code causing too many issues, and bad servers are making this game feel terrible to play. Smite 2 when?
@@leeham6230 Smite lost their people, they must pay some streamers or youtubers to get those who left and more new players
Best season for me
This set is the reason I play smite. Adapting is forever the goat
Adapting is the goat but I’ll never get the sound of COG winning in season 1 out of my head. And it was MLC St3alth, the guy who got me into the game, my fucking smite hero lmao
Regardless of what he did Dm and Bart casting duo was the greatest casting i have ever seen in a videogame.
When you say adapting at his best all I see is his Thor, serqet and Fenrir gameplay.
I'm gonna keep asking, even more now that you're doing "immortal games." TheBoosh on Ra, Cog Red vs Fat Chunks Assemble. Truly immortal.
Hold your horses. Surely there’s a gamehunter match that needs to be commemorated first!
Man I wonder how Boosh would be if he still played Smite
Thank you once again for these types of videos. I think this was a great idea and well executed. Sort of like a "greatest sets" but focusing on a player popping off
That voiceover in the beginning was awesome!

Man, I still love watching this. Adapting was on fire! I miss the old school Smite days. 😔
Thanks god we needed a channel like you for smite. Cheers from France!
Yesterday adapting brought back his Fenrir but they couldn't get that win. But it was so good seeing him play
This was great! Thank you. Gotta do one on Yammyn as well.
The ending tho.
2022, & It's still the Best Smite ever.
What a match up!
Best season also
As a C9 fan, watching this set live made me lay down on the floor and remain there for a while.
Watching this to get ready for his comeback for season X.
SWC season 2 was when I first started watching smite eSports. I remember how hype this sets were. Good times :)

This was absolutely amazing I would love to see other players Immortal games
What a phenomenal video, keep up the good work. Can't wait to see more of these videos in the future!
Goog memories man. The time I enjoyed the game. Makes me want to go back at it.
Goosebumps thank you for the upload
12:20. “Fuck’em up boys!” 😂
Your voice is so great for videos like this. Keep it up!!
I remember watching this live and just feeling ripped off with the finals match after watching that C9 Epsilon game. But damn was that some good smite.
We all knew C9 vs Epsilon was the true Finals :)
I knew the title of this video was talking about the Fenrir game. It was epic
Your content is just amazing man don’t stop
9:49 oh the old xba ult... thought the game froze for a sec
Amazing piece of history
less then a minute in and i already got chills
This was the true finals of that season, Epsilon wiped out enemy in the finals easily
Banging video as always good sir, love from south east
You don't see team fights like this anymore
too this day it still gives me goosbumps
The Latam mid Nozx' game on Ra vs NRG was a sight to behold. Probably the best single game performance i've ever seen
This could also be shown as Raffer's immortal game, going off those clips
I remember winning a sniper skin for Tribes Ascend on Kennets stream. Good times
Great video!
👏I love this video so much very well done keep it up mate
That Bellona ult by dimi was so huge at 13 minutes made Emiil be able to pull of all his damage and allow adapting to mop all the carries cuz cloud 9 panicked
Adapting with the Roger Federer cap in the thumbnail, nice.

Raff: im backing im backing I AM BACK ING
great video
This is the like 5th time I watched this but gotta do it for the king
Paul definitely needs a vid like this for the pk run
He already does
This video really called the fall of andinster
A king back.
Damn, raffer is so calm in the comms

I have 3 memories of this game
-Adaptking farming C9
-MLC standing and dying to Adapting
-DM Brandon ugh
never realized baskin missed some crucial ults this game
Good old days...
Goosebumps
What about when Nika went 10-0-10 last year on King Arthur
Every time I hear bart. That man was so good.
And baby Steve. That makes me happy.
Back when Raffer enjoyed smite and played like the best player in the world.

Not denying adapting played well but this feel more like the entire roster playing out of their minds than one player
Watching the games live really showed how jung diff they were. Adapting was pretty much no factor in the first three and absolutely went off the last two. There was nothing they could do
Adaptking is the real jungle goat
When I think of Adapting I think of Thor.. would love a video on that :D
I'm a simple man, I see Adapting I click
Greatest smite player ever.
Never realized Diem was shorter than Zapman I always thought zap was kinda short
Nice video! What about one of warchi's susanoo adc vs NRG??
The federer hat
tell ppl to subscribe. I've watched 3 of your vids and didn't realize I wasn't subscribed til now
Loved the way you sayd enjoy haha🔥🔥
The Barton Adanas Brandon cast was fantastic. It's been years and I still get hyped watching these games. Great content Betty. Long live the King.
You should make more of players immortal games type of videos
Adaptking you mean 😏👑👑
Love the vids, can we get some vids on Super Regionals Season 2? Cloud9 !!
Yea adapting and all but Iraffers support is so fucken good
Love how no one talks about how andi got solo'd by raffer
DM might have turned out to be a horrible person but he knew how to narrate and hype up a game, HOLY!
Ahh!! Where can I find your stream schedule!?
You say that like my life is organised enough to have a schedule
@@BettySmite 😆
I really like your content bro!!! You should cover the season 3 win. In one of the games he played thor and had 100% kill involvment!!
Say what you want about Brandon, but him and Bart casting was so giid
why did c9 go 5 man siege mid down 15k against fg haha >.
Legend has it Barra fanboys still have nightmares

Thor and Fenrir used to be broken back in the day lol 😆
Imo adapting still the best jungler
