One thing that has really helped me deal with trading losses is understanding that, as retail traders, we don’t have the power to move the market. For example, if I mark a level where I plan to enter a long position and, once the price reaches that level, I execute my plan but hit a stop loss, it simply means that the larger market participants-like institutions-didn't see that level as a strong buy opportunity. In such cases, I adjust my strategy by looking for another key point where I believe these bigger players might step in and drive the price in my desired direction.
Exactly bro, we can only try to predict what we think might happen, and if it doesn't we simply adjust and try again and through experience we will get better at predicting correctly and being right more times than we are wrong.
