Beautiful color contrast in that stone. Nice clean cuts too.

What a difference after the cut. Very pretty. Love how it stands out under the light. Reminds me of the yooper light rocks. Nice video Jay. Waiting to see what rock you'll do next. 😁

It seems like you need a tiny wedge on the slab side so the slab drops down. Otherwise, it seems like it would vibrate itself forward and risk scratching it all to heck. Alternate, you could add an arm that wraps around and pushes it forward until the saw auto shuts off.
I love the contrast of the red and green. Also, I'm curious to see how something like eclogite looks.

Quite the investment for the saw but boy it cuts nice. Always good to get the right tool for the job. Cuts look good! Do you have to polish them more after the cut?

I’ve been using a harbor freight tile saw for a couple years. Most times I could get a nice even slab. Sometimes I’d get uneven slabs or end up with saw marks. My lower back and hands would fatigue after a few hours of cutting. Now I can set it and forget it. Lol
The slabs could always use a polish. All that means is removing scratches. I cut palmstones and cabochons out of the slabs and polish them.
