I am absolutely certain that the only 1500 HP power unit on this vessel is a backup generator. Pretty sure that he meant 15,000 HP per primary propulsion engine
Well as a fisherman, I use anchors on a regular, and e man handle them but when your anchors are bigger then my boat I guess you need a beast of a vessel like that.
i know nothing about ships, and esp such specality ships but, when this guy so confidently says that ship has 1500 HP, in that moment i can tell that he knows nothing of which he speaks.
High Ice-classed AHTS vessel capable of operations in harsh environment offshore regions, as well as Arctic/Sub-Arctic operations. Machinery: 2xMAK 4000kW / 5440 HP 2xMAK 3000kW / 4085 HP Total of 19 050HP (14 000kW) !!!!!!
This video does not live up to the channel name "Beyond Facts". This is merely a size comparison click bait vehicle. And as some viewers pointed out, factually incorrect to boot. Crikey.
If a piping at border - if maybe thieves then shoot water from in sea also? A defence way so the entry have watershots. Issit really vikings only? I heard a criminal level of creation can be size of cruise ship, so maybe this is easiest takeover?
So much misinformation here... Such beast has less power than a bugatti... A regular tug pulls 10,000 won't here...i normally off load it...not even maxed out.and Bro said the biggest tug in the world pulls 200 tons.....what a joke
I think there may be more spoken errors in horse power ratings. For example the narrator says 2080 horse power and the screen text shows 20.800 Hp. ( I think the Europeans use a decimal point instead of a comma) 1500 Hp propelling a ship of that size is just not logical. It probably takes 1500 Hp to provide other services than propulsion.
@Beyond Fact - did you fact check ANY of this video? Its a cluster f*** of mistakes, from 1500hp Vikings (its over 10x this), to differences between what you state verbally compared to whats on screen (both of which are also, coincidentally, wildly inaccurate!).. You guys need to do a LOT better

Brage Viking doesn’t have ONLY 1500hp 🤦🏻♂️ it has 19050 hp!!! A LOT of mistakes in such a short video.
They don't call this channel "Beyond Facts" for nothing. 🤷♂️
How can such a stupid mistake be made?
Channel of another motormouthed yankee spouting lies for money, expect no more.
Haha I came here to say the same. How did they screw that up. There are cars with 1500 horsepower. Hahaha
1500hp sounds like the kicker power (240v power supply)
I am absolutely certain that the only 1500 HP power unit on this vessel is a backup generator. Pretty sure that he meant 15,000 HP per primary propulsion engine
yes 1500 hp would not move that ship LOL.
At 3:38 the narrator does it again calling 20,800 HP 2,800....seems to have a problem with decimals and comma's.
Heineken 24 in a box😄@@recoilrob324
I love that huge bow design! Expedition ships are my favorite nautical style.
Ulstein X bow design.
What about the Island Victory? strongest AHTS ship in the world. It has a certified bollard pull capacity of 477 tonnes.
I’d say it’s probably better business than a cruise ship
Your customers would exclusively be trillion dollar oil mega corps. Yup I'd say they do pretty good.
I didn’t take anything seriously after he said 1500 hp lol
And that 2,000+ hp ship when it says 20,000 on the screen. I would be embarrassed. 🤣
Money back 😄
1500hp? LOL NO WAY!
Bollard Pull: I thought he was saying Baller Pull.
Well as a fisherman, I use anchors on a regular, and e man handle them but when your anchors are bigger then my boat I guess you need a beast of a vessel like that.
1500 hp!!!!!!?????? almost 16.000 hp
19k hp to be exact
BUILT IN SPAIN . . . .WOW
Amazing video....Thanks...
Shoe🇺🇸
Would love to see 1500 HP move that ship
i wonder if a person can book passage on these ships--just to hang out, maybe sweep floors, clean toilets, etc
and vomit leeward over the rail and bulwark
You can book cargo ships for real.
BEAUTIFUL'S

How does this list not include the Laney Chouest? Fairly certain it's larger than every anchor handling tug on this list.
Laney Chouest is a bucket of junk, it’s an archaic design and lacks any of the modern technology. You want to see a real AHTS check out Island Victory
@@traumaward4959 that may be, but the video says "biggest" not newest or fanciest.
If I had the opportunity of gaining my Captains chit. This vessel would be my first choice of command.
When I was working at Ricardos, in Shoreham, one of their designers, worked on ship engines.
They were big!

Just plain too many mistakes in this to be taken seriously. Due diligence please
the commentator making numerous mistakes while explaining.
i want to buy one of these anchor handling tugs ..new or 2nd hand in good condition .

Plenty mistakes here 🤦
I saw at least 4 different tugs. Which one is he actually talking about??
1500 hp? Maybe it’s generator’s
Miss pette is not AHTS!!!!!!
The first one started life 2012 and expected to work for 10 more years I remember when that thing was new feels like yesterday 10 years fly buy
It can probably tow a helioport and or cargo barge.
more like "Beyond Derrr", who signed off on these ridiculously low horsepower numbers? 😂
Esvagt tho 😍
Confusion over H.P. errors.
Доброго времени суток мы хотели бы купить судно если в цене договоримся
Where is lewek fulmar
If seawater = float, then this is actually really half-ships? Issit become half-price? Where is the other half?

First comment 😊
WOW idiots still post that shit....................
They forgot 2.the Laney chouest and Dino Chouest. Owned and operated by Edison chouest.
@@kingz4174 yes sir
Beyond facts? Yeah I guess all the mistakes are exactly that….. beyond fact
lol 1500hp
You watch and see how many of these units get converted for offshore wind farm use in the next ten years. The ICE age is over....
None! They aren’t green enough to operate in the future, the wind sector will have all brand new vessels like the ones NorWind are building.

Most of your stats are just wrong.
Where is Island Victory????
At this time eta Malta 3rd. Nov. 2022
Love tugs
Love seeing big ocean going tugs
But, yeah the info in this is mostly crap.
Chill with the subscribe pleas. More than once per video gets annoying
Change the name of this channel to sometimes a fact.....
dude dont know what he talking bout
Why do you have to mention it's fn size 20 times!!
he mentioned 20 different ships
I probably would have subscribed if you didn't needlessly shoe horn it in twice in your video.

Mispronouncing words makes you seem unqualified to inform poeple of anything. 'Draught' is pronounced draft.
Yes, I quickly noted the same thing.
Kersk master sounds like fucked up name sense we all seen the kersk documentry kersk means shark
hahaha! 1500 hp. please pass the credibility. immediately stopped watching video
