When Green beetle was "fixing" him thats when he was able to turn him on mode. It also goes to show how heavy Mongul is ...where it was taking both Superboy and Wondergirl to carry him! The fact blue tossed Mongul on Wondergirl and then pinned her down..was crazy
For some context: In Justice League Unlimited Mongol easily beat down Wonder Woman one on one and stated that the only person who could stand toe to toe with him was Superman himself.
Warworld has been the setting for many great Superman series. Sometimes its like it is in this show a living death machine planet, but other times its just a planet full of gladiatorial combat. Superman got stuck there once with amnesia in the 70's or 80's, and in recent comics was also made a slave on Warworld till he fought his way to freedom
Minor thing but I love how they didn't milk the whole Blue Beetle under Reach control plot and just jumped to him betraying everyone the episode after his revel
@ That’s honestly my only complaint for season 2 is the limited episodes from the rest of the series ( that and all the constant delays and hiatuses when it was airing)
4:39 If I remember correctly... Mongol was a rip-off of Thanos. Thanos was a ripoff of Darkseid. And if you want to go even further Apocalypse was a rip-off of Mongol.

This was an epic episode! Everyone got a chance to shine! And I love that Mal got out all his frustration and made up with Bumblebee

They might’ve done so if they had 26 episodes this season instead of 20, but WB is gonna WB…

Superman has no reaction when he sees Mongul at the trial because, they haven't met yet.
This is a holistic adaptation of DC, but that also means not every iconic character or story or moment would be adapted as we know them…
