He recognized Lucas because Lucas is the only person that would confidently kiss him with no shame, recognized Gloria because she is the only girl with so much exposed skin that he knows, recognized Richard because he is the only short man that he knows. The only person he recognized by the kiss is Gerald

This is set in around that time?? Jeremy functioned okay after the bite for some time. He was still bit in 1987, but he died waaaay later (still because of the injuries from the bite)
