I powdercoat for a living and i agree its pretty satisfying and depending on what youre doing its pretty simple. As you get better at it you should try blending colours and clear coats etc. Awesome vid
Any idea why the colour didn't come out right but in some spots it had a lighter shade? Is the powder not atomizing out of the gun properly or something
@@MayhemInc yea thats it, usually youll have a hopper( bin that flows air through it) to run air through your powder to make it like water when you run your hand through it. Easiest way to explain it would be comparing it to spraying a candy paint with a supercheap auto spray gun. Itll be a bit hit and miss but good enough to get the job done
Yew, for the emblem use a razorblade when the paint is half dry - kind of soft, so that you wont pull up the paint around it.
That does look like a hard one to do though, there isnt much 'poke' on it

Bit of lipbalm/vasoline on the Toyota emblem next time and it’ll stop the paint/PC sticking to the surface. Can just wipe it off afterwards

You really need to get some decent quality guard/fender/wing covers
Protect that paint 😁
I'd also invest in some multi vbelt pulleys, like FD, think Franklin Engineering sell them
The standard single vbelts always wear out quick and need adjustment, even double pulley alternator pulley belts
You can also buy an alternator adjustment bracket like the FD
Less likely to have loose belts
Some shop in USA sells them
Toyota Cover, can you file the emblem and writing, get that shiny alloy look
