This narrator is so judgmental. This show is great and it was made to be funny so that is why Bertram is like that. AND if you actually watch the show you would know that the mom says in season 4 “Bertram we keep you around because the kids and I love you”. And it’s meant to be funny and you don’t even know about the show.

Stop complaining! This show wasn't made to be practical, it was made to be funny. In case you didn't realize, this isn't based on a real life story. They only wrote the parents to be gone all the time because otherwise Jessie wouldn't need to be there, and that would pretty much ruin it.

Emma wasn’t 15 for 3 seasons. And I bunked, she’s actually like 17 or 18. The show was okay to me. And plus, a 29 year old playing a 16 year old is pretty normal to me. A lot of Disney starts we’re about like 4 years older than their actual characters. And in season one, emma was at least 13 or 14.
