Ever use a pair of Lazers to bench mark your layouts, and since your shop is basically a one man shop.
You can have fixed positions for them to sit in numerous different locations that are common for you since your pretty much sitting your table in same direction depending on if it's a mobile or not.
Not knowing if you use it as support for different devices around the shop.
But they come in handy for leveling your table, because things move with the weather especially metals of various thickness.
Sheet metal worker by trade some 40 years retired, are retarded as my dad use to say.
LOL, it's true, because it doesn't take long, and you figure out that what use to be instantly in your brain, now your mind has to sort through all the clutter of needing defragged to sort all the knowledge back into the proper places..
What breed is she, because I think she has a lot of heeler in her, but there's something else too..
Thats if I am not totally off on my thinking, but I don't see as well as I once did too.
Definitely dig your tunes, I'm diehard fanatic about Blues myself.
Try that tig out on some thin stainless steel, don't have any specific alloy in mind, but 28 to 30 gauge in either tight radius, or inside tight bends will put you on top of the game if you practice it especially uf its basically a blind weld.
Part of the family was boiler makers part millwrights sheet metal garage part-time wanna be hot rod fabrication redneck farmer type stuff bout covers what i use to be capable of doing..
Nowadays can't see, hands shakes too much, but mainly the eyes hurts me from doing things such as that anymore..
Nice to see someone that follows the 6 P rules of doing things.
I'm sure you know what that is.
Well enjoyed drifting around among your old video library, and I ain't done by a long shot from looks of what I seen so far.
Although I worked all over the metroplex, I'm not familiar with none of those boys fab shops.
Most of my early years were spent in hospitals around DFW, then it seemed that I got in the natural headquarters rut for a good many years, last job I ran was Collin County courthouse renovations and add on, but that was a day or two back now.
Did a little hot rod peddling for couple friends of mine just to see if i could do it, and I have to admit i not only surprised them, but myself..
Only I have a very bad tendency to let my ocd kick in, and I've never been considered fast at anything.
But when I get finished, I'm finished, and I don't typically have anything to go back and correct, not unless someone came in behind me and jacked something up and didn't tell anyone about it, are the owners charged their mind, and didn't tell me before hand.
Same 😂when I was working, only everyone botched about how slow I was, but then they never remembered that I was always ahead of schedule at the end of the job, and had 99% deficiency records on every job unless someone did something they didn't say anything about, are they charged their minds or added additional items they wanted done

I need to use lasers more often. I level my table with digital levels, and use lasers essentially as long scribe lines. Glad you're enjoying the channel, and cruising through the catalog. I'm glad you're here.
