I'm happy for you that you found your answer after a while. Thanks for sharing I enjoyed it! I also want to ask if the god v. Titan war could have come from that book when Disney made the movie?
yeah, if only it was mythologically correct, I mean, they even got Hercules name wrong Hercules is the roman version, his greek name is Heraclues, and Hera isn't his mom, Hera is actually the one who sent the snakes to kill him, also, Hercules has a brother, he also was born moral, and hades in mythology is probably the nices of the big three. and I think I've explained the many things Disney got wrong,
Theory about Hades’ defeat you should do someday. Did he survive it due to his immortality? Something that’s forever been a mystery, if only DisneyToon Studios considered that sequel before the rise of John Lasseter, we could’ve been able to figure it out if it came to be, Hercules remains the only film of Disney’s Renaissance Era to not have any follow ups.
I always figured he was eventually going to come back because of the conversation Pain and Panic have after Hades gets knocked into the Well of Souls: Panic: He's not gonna be happy when he gets out of there! Pain: You mean IF he gets out of there! Panic: If. If is good . . . Because they had a similar conversation after they screwed up killing Hercules and look how THAT turned out.
@@SuperSongbird21 exactly. I thought that because they said the exact same thing after failing to kill Hercules about hades not finding out saying "if he finds out" that he could still get out of there. Because yeah he did find out about Hercules still being alive (it took 18 years for him to realize they failed to kill him but he still found out about it) it might take a while for him to get out but he will probably get out
gods don't die, they fade. therefore pan did not die in fact he faded. for immortal beings to fade they have to have no believers and they can to believe in themselves.
I just realized the Greek gods lived on Mount Olympus. Which is a very climbable mountain. But nobody ever bothered to check to see if there are actually a bunch of gods and goddesses up there.
Miles Brown yeah well, Hera isn't his mom and he killed his first family and those are very big points in his life, as well as a bunch of other stuff and they weren't in the movie so I mean, I don't think Disney gives a crap
Ellen Frank More like that doesn't exactly fit Disney's family friendly theme, it's only fairly recently they've begun venturing further with things. I mean: Adultery, multiple attempts of Filicide, and many other things that are very unDisney like, of course they're gonna change to be family friendly. Hercules wasn't the first and definitely wasn't the last. Here's a good site that explains differences between a handful of Disney & OG versions: www.theodysseyonline.com/fairytales-versus-disney-adaptations.amp
I know this is going off topic, but close to mythology’s also. Since in Norse Mythology, there is one person that is killed in that, which is Balder. Who is killed by a mistletoe by Loki. But I think it could be possible for hades to have that potion made.
Sakura Pablo In the version of the myth about Balder that I read Balder's mother, Frigg, makes all known things promise to never harm him. The only thing that she didn't make swear is mistletoe, because she thought that an innocent small plant like mistletoe would never be able to harm Balder. Therefore Balder was vulnerable to mistletoe and died when Loki tricked Balder's blind brother into killing him.
And Loki got punished very severely Here's the round up of it The aesir killed his sons first they turned one into a wolf and sent him onto his brother they shot the wolf and gutted them both the guts were used as chains and Loki got a snake above his face and it dripped poison on his face until he got free
Remember all of the gods wanted to destroy Bessie because it was told by the fates that the bloodshed of Bessie granted the power to destroy the olympians.
Pjo Hades is an amazing father (he actually tries to be a parent) and a faithful husband (well... he is better than Zeus) and he is not plotting domination he just wants to be left alone and treated as an equal Hades is the good guy here I love Disney but some of there stuff is very inaccurate
You never cease to amaze me! Your theories are thought out and supported so well!! Please never stop making these videos, this is my favourite channel!!
Disney: Hera's great! Zeus is soo cool and kind, and Heracles is an amazing guy. But Hades sucks Percy Jackson/ Hero of Olympus fans: Hera sucks, Zeus is a cheat, and Heracles is a rude butt, and Hades is one of the only good guys.
Also, instead of typing 'impossible', I'll say Possible. Gods have always died in mythology, whether it be Greek, Norse, Chinese, Egyptian, and so on. A famous example of gods dying is Norse myth, wherein not only is there Ragnarok, when the Aesir and Vanir tribes of the gods all die, but there's also that time when Idunn was kidnapped with her apples of immortality, which caused the gods to age terribly, with only the giant Loki having the youth to come after her and save her, as the gods were fearing for their lives, and the fact that Ragnarok is caused by the death of the Aesir god of light, Baldr. Even in Greek myth, I although I don't recall any situation when a god dies, Zeus was afraid that he would be killed by one of his children for his position as King of Olympos. He showed fear that he might die, so it's quite possible that Greek Gods can die, despite being immortal.
Dude, just started watching your videos. Cool to see someone from Manitowoc (I'm from Kewaunee), who was/is a Blugold (I'm one as well lol) make it big on YT!
Hercules is Heracles Roman name. one of things that's a real head-scratcher is how can Hercules meets Aladdin, if Hercules is supposed to take place in ancient Greece how can he meet Aladdin in the Hercules episode Hercules and the Arabian Night .the reason I bring this up is because one of the attendees to Aladdin and Jasmine's wedding is Julius Caesar. and when Aladdin and Jasmine appear in the episode of Hercules they were on there honeymoon.
or it could be that Hercules tas (Herc's teenage years) take place during early days of the Roman Empire under Julius Caesar, because we know Julius Caesar attended Aladdin and Jasmine's wedding in the king of thieves, and then Aladdin and Jasmine meet Herc during their honeymoon in greece.
Issac I freaking love your channel. It has a awesome mix of humor facts and fiction. Their so interesting, on things I never thought about. I make my own videos and theories. You’re the best, I’m working on making the worlds best fan-mail letter. Love ya Issac
In the first book about Descendants it mentioned Sher Khan and also the disney villains kids have pets who are offspring of the villain animals so I do believe all of them are on the Isle of the Lost. The book is called Isle of the Lost. Also it mentioned Maleficent's crow Diablo and Igago Jafar's parrot. Maybe they didn't want to bother putting them in the movies.
This theory was excellent. You really went deep into research to find a source and I truly believe you succeeded. Great job, Issac. I love the Hercules film and Hades is such a great villain.
Please do a video on Anastasia Tremaine. Once Upon a Time even focused on her, not only in the crappy season 7 (Though she doesn't have much of a personality there) but also in the spin-off Once Upon a Time in Wonderland where she managed to become the Red Queen in order to prove her mother wrong about her being a failure (It also shows that Cinderella apparently had THREE step-sisters instead of only two).
I always assumed Hades somehow tricked Hekate into making the potion and she was trapped on the moon before anybody could find out what she did, but this is an interesting theory. There is also the story of Zagreus. Basically, his is the son of Persephone that was stupid enough to go near the Titans, got ripped to pieces, and reincarnated as Dionysus. Of course, that's just one version of the story.
There's also the Chronos stone and the Chronos axe. Two items made from the remains of the titan Chronos himself and powered by his hatred of the Olympians which have the power to curse and kill immortals and gods. Hades in the Hercules animated series once used the stone in an attempt to curse Olympus. And some legends state that gods and demigods are naturally capable of killing other immortals and that gods can empower mortals with the power to kill gods and remove said power as they please. Also gods can be tricked into killing themselves.
There is a precedent for killing a god in Norse mythology, though. Baldur was slain when Loki grew a special mistletoe, fashioned it into a dart and gave it to the blind god, Hodur to throw. The TV series established that the Norse gods exist in that world, so it's possible that Hades obtained the potion from Loki. Mistletoe is actually toxic, but it doesn't grow in Greece so it would be difficult to collect, even if Hades knew how to brew it.
But in the Rick Riordan Percy Jackson books when ever a monster dies they go to Tartarus to be reborn for the next hero to slay it. And it takes longer for monsters with stronger powers to come back.So if Hades jest waited for a few months if he wanted he could kill the Oviatt more then once to make more of the poison. Because the underworld is right over Tartarus and Disney owns The Percy Jackson franchise so yup if Hades really thought outside the box he could have been king of Olympics.
Turquoise Bee technically the Pecyverse-the collection of all of Riordans books such as Kane Chronicles, Magnus Chase and Percy Jackson-is an ENTIRELY different take on the greek myths. The video is very interesting! It explains a lot about the potion! Hades was simply given a potion from a rare creature so, Hades created it to turn Heracles or Hercules mortal. Also, Heracles is a sweet person with a gentle voice in Disney’s universe. I like his voice! And his parents are all awesome. Zeus and Hera are super kind and caring with loving voices and personalities! They are very wise and kind to their people! Also this is a good video.
All of your pronouncesiations (sorry if that was the wrong spelling) killled me!! I am a huge Greek myth fan I know almost all the myth and five of the names you said were wrong!! But I loved he video!!!
It makes sense because on Hercules the TV shows the Gods could be killed by the blood of the Golden Hind, so Zeus had them destroyed. Of course one survived. In one of the episodes Zeus was sick and dying it was discovered that the Zeus from the mirror universe was being feed Hind blood and it effected main Zeus.
Ashley Martinson it was supposed to be may the fourth be with you Not may the force be with you. But only if its the 4th of may and your a star wars fan. Just saying. No offense.

Wotso Videos no problem man. this theory is really well done. you're getting better and better with these. definitely deserve the views and subs you have right now :)
It’s might be a concoction of Opiataurus flesh, water from the river of Styx, and Hydra’s blood that also involves a very specific fermentation process Using Cronus’s special sickle along with the fires of Tartarus the potion would take millennial to prepare in small amounts You think this might hold up?
I thought it was a reference to the drink Zeus gave to Kronos to vommit all his siblings when he was disguised as a cupbearer

Gods can most likely be slain by various immortal-weapons - weapons powerful enough to slay gods and other immortal beings. For example, Kaladanda, the Staff of Death. This weapon was a special and lethal club used by the God Yama or God of Naraka or Hell in Hindu mythology. It was described as "the ultimate weapon"; once fired it would kill anybody before it no matter what boons they had to protect themselves.
If he used the ophiotaurus to make the mortality potion then Zues and Hera should have known who kidnapped their son as soon as they found him mortal but when Hercules meets his fathers statue he just says you were stolen from us but doesnt warn Hercules that it was his treacherous uncle and he has it out for him. So my theory is there must be more Ophiotaurus out there, or more than one method to take immortality. At least from an infant since theyre more vulnerable and less powerful than an adult god.
Oh man....this is an interesting theory. So much research clearly went into this one. (ALSO HOLY CRAP YOU GRADUATED FROM UW-EAU CLAIRE?!?! THAT'S THE SAME COLLEGE I'M GOING TO RIGHT NOW!!!)
That actually makes so much sense.... I wish we had gotten a sequel for this movie because, along with Mulan, the Little Mermaid and even Aladdin, was my childhood.
You can never know really. I mean Disney's Hercules is diffrent from greek mythology Hercules. The pibk potion could be anything in Disney's world. But this is a really good idea. I love your videos. Please keep up the awesome work!
Heh heh heh. The minute you said that there was a way to defeat an immortal god, I immediately thought of Idunn and her golden apples from Norse Mythology. I had read about the Ophiotaurus thanks to The Titan's Curse in Riordan's Percy Jackson books, but it didn't cross my mind as a sacrifice with its entrails being the ingredients to strip immortals of their power. It's an interesting theory that this was the mortality potion Hades used on Hercules, but I have always thought that anything related to death, regardless of pantheon, can be manufactured in limited quantities because of how hard it is to maintain living ingredients in a realm dedicated to the deceased.
Impossible! Honestly when I first started watching the video I thought you were going to go with the route of the Philosopher Stone in Fullmetal Alchemist. 😅😅😅 I mean, just your line “it takes killing what to make the potion “ or whatever you said, and the skeleton room made me think of how the Philosopher Stone required hundreds possibly thousands of human sacrifices to make an incomplete stone, and an entire country to make a complete one and if you had two complete ones, you could takes Gods power for yourself
What about death and mortality stripping of the gods in Xena and Hercules. There lots of things that do it, the rib from the titan Kronos can kill Zeus, Hinds Blood can kill them, a spell Caliguia used to make Aphrodite a mortal, bewitched scrolls from aphrodite made both her and Ares lose their mortality. Some greater power gave Xena the power to kill a god, even a god themselves can strip their power by defying Athena, like Ares did to save Xena. He did this by healing Eve and Gabrielle without her blessing.
in the Percy Jackson books there is a beast that is have cow half fish and was described like the photo of that animal it was wanted by bad people because it could destroy Olympus how they did this was burning the animal how cool is that!!!
When I started watching the video I was like “isn’t there that fish cow thing that is supposed to bring about the end of the gods?” And it seems I guessed right.

"There was no way to destroy the Gods of Olympus"
Kratos: I beg to differ.
Hydra poison is known to be so painful to immortals that they give up their immortality to die. Both Heracles and Chirion died this way
Heracles died from a small amount of diluted hydra venom also fire also he didn't die and wasn't immortal well that's the interpretation I read
After his 12 labors, Herakles was granted immortality by Zeus. And yes, he was killed by centaur blood. It literally burned all of his skin off
Theory about Hades’ defeat you should do someday. Did he survive it due to his immortality? Panic: If. If is good . . .
Because they had a similar conversation after they screwed up killing Hercules and look how THAT turned out.
If he can't get out of there it'd be a fate worse than death. The god of the underworld trapped forever with the very souls he's in charge of.

In Hercules the legendary journeys the blood of a golden hind will kill an Olympian god.
Daniel Goodrich I'm surprised people remember that show. But in actual greek myths, the hind was just a female deer with antlers
Daniel Goodrich - there are several myths about this as well. Zeus also makes Apollo mortal as punishment in one myth.

Only 1 dislike and you don't even deserve THAT!
Congrats for finishing your final year!! We all love and support you all the way!!!❤️
Nice video Isaac
Thank you so much!!
Your videos are amazing and awesome! I love this video! I love Greek mythology too! 😍😘. Great video! May the force be with you!

When theorizers interact, they apparently make theories. When speed drawers and animators interact, we convo, because ain't nobody gon take 2 weeks out of their lives to leisurely animate with such a tight schedule.
Such a good video and love the logic used to present the theories and arguments through all of your videos. But the real question is why the HELL are you so cute? lol
You're very kind! Thanks!
Never heard of Ophiotarus before. It makes so much sense!
this shouldn't even have to be a theory. it fits so well to me. lets just all agree and pretend its in fact canon. 👌
Wow thanks! I'm happy you enjoyed the theory so much!
Wotso Videos no problem man. this theory is really well done. you're getting better and better with these. definitely deserve the views and subs you have right now :)

Love your videos!!!!!💖💝💖💝💕💕
Thank you so much!! I'm happy you enjoyed them!
It’s might be a concoction of Opiataurus flesh, water from the river of Styx, and Hydra’s blood that also involves a very specific fermentation process
Using Cronus’s special sickle along with the fires of Tartarus the potion would take millennial to prepare in small amounts
You think this might hold up?
I did a video on Hades is too cool great video it was so interesting ;)
I'm happy you enjoyed it!! Thanks for watching!
Keep it up man from a Disney fan :)

More DreamWorks theories
Will the Snaptrapper be in the HTTYD3?
Okay I gotta watch those movies! Especially before the third one drops!
Wotso Videos also the show that aired on cartoon network and the pre series on Netflix
Httyd?
If he used the ophiotaurus to make the mortality potion then Zues and Hera should have known who kidnapped their son as soon as they found him mortal but when Hercules meets his fathers statue he just says you were stolen from us but doesnt warn Hercules that it was his treacherous uncle and he has it out for him. So my theory is there must be more Ophiotaurus out there, or more than one method to take immortality. At least from an infant since theyre more vulnerable and less powerful than an adult god.
I love your videos. I watched all of them.
Oh man....this is an interesting theory. So much research clearly went into this one.
(ALSO HOLY CRAP YOU GRADUATED FROM UW-EAU CLAIRE?!?! THAT'S THE SAME COLLEGE I'M GOING TO RIGHT NOW!!!)
Yass . Works videos is the best . The theory on fleek . Isaac is the best .
I love Greek mythology so much! I'm so happy that Isaac is talking about this question I've wondered about for so long
IMPOSSIBLE or is it KIM POSSIBLE!!!...sorry that was aweful I love you tho and you knew ben????
Can you make a video about Chel’s backstory from The Road to El Dorado? I feel like no one ever did that.
Phineas loves this channel
That actually makes so much sense.... I wish we had gotten a sequel for this movie because, along with Mulan, the Little Mermaid and even Aladdin, was my childhood.
wow such a awesome channel Wotso, I love Disney to!
Do it please
You can never know really. I mean Disney's Hercules is diffrent from greek mythology Hercules. The pibk potion could be anything in Disney's world. But this is a really good idea. I love your videos. Please keep up the awesome work!
I thought it was the golden tree
Who ever liked the comment have u watched the class of the titans?
Kawaii Draw yes I love that show!
Same i watched all episodes
I knew all of these facts. Then again, I'm a mythology geek...
Pan died in the labyrinth (Percy Jackson reference!) also excuse me Ophiotaurus you mean Bessie! great video as always
That dislike is from Hades
Best channel that discusses Disney.
First, I love this
You are amazing and this video is extraordinary !
I know what it is werewolf blood I learning in school o and hoi
Apparently, your right because if you look up Ophiotauras, it shows you that if the creature was slain, it would destroy any God.
Hi your are amazing
What about death and mortality stripping of the gods in Xena and Hercules. There lots of things that do it, the rib from the titan Kronos can kill Zeus, Hinds Blood can kill them, a spell Caliguia used to make Aphrodite a mortal, bewitched scrolls from aphrodite made both her and Ares lose their mortality. Some greater power gave Xena the power to kill a god, even a god themselves can strip their power by defying Athena, like Ares did to save Xena. He did this by healing Eve and Gabrielle without her blessing.
The one dislike is hades
in the Percy Jackson books there is a beast that is have cow half fish and was described like the photo of that animal it was wanted by bad people because it could destroy Olympus how they did this was burning the animal how cool is that!!!
Katy Mckeever bessy
Yo I'm first good vid
When I started watching the video I was like “isn’t there that fish cow thing that is supposed to bring about the end of the gods?” And it seems I guessed right.
