Story Time! 🤓 I feel like I need to share some of the behind the scenes to this mix, because I haven't recorded a mix in a while, so unprepared and with things going wrong 🥲 So I was with my girlfriend, her parents and two friends on Koh Samui for a week. I had a tight schedule. Still working full time, 40h a week, spending time with the family of my girlfriend and just be present, I had no time to really prepare everything. Usually I prepare a proper playlist, feel into the mix, which songs suit the best for the environment, upload them on UA-cam, to check if they are blocked in some countries. This time. Yeah. Just had a few songs already downloaded, just found a sick disco edits album, bought this and that's it. I played tracks during this mix I never heard before. Which is usually a no go for a DJ 🤣 Then I forgot the drone on the other island, started recording, iPhone storage was full after 3mins recording, which I did not see until min 40. So yeah. Everything was spontaneous, a bit chaotic, but at the end, I really enjoy this mix, the vocals, the edits, the location and I hope you too! ❤
I will never forget what my DJ mentor told me on our first learning session... He`s been DJing for 25 years, has heard 100s of djs and he told me: "I only heard about 5 perfect sets in my life!" I think that was his included. A good DJ will always figure it out and work with what he`s got. In the end the important thing is the vibe not the perfect execution 🙃

Sometimes all we can do is "walk in and see what happens". That is something an old boss taught me about things that are difficult to prepare for!
