Yes Bev I agree! I'm working on this one as well! There's about 1/4 left and mine is a 40x40cm, but I'm having the same issues! Very tiny drills makes it hard to multiplace without gaping. So far mine doesn't seem to be popping as much as yours cause of all the large gaping. I also had a couple areas where the symbols were printed blurry and hard to see. Love the the art, but struggling to find the motivation to finish it.... Glad I'm not the only one! Thanks for your review and validation 😂

I ordered a few from them. The first one I wanted to work on had the wrong drills in the box. They sent me a whole new kit. The square drills were so tabby with extras on the sides I only got one small section done before I gave up. They sent me a third one that I haven’t even looked at yet. And have been documenting on my YT channel. Really hoping the 3rd times the charm. Glad I’m not the only one who’s had issues. They aren’t that cheap either, and I think a lot of their art work is now AI instead of from artists, which I think is kinda sad.

Love the images but yes their squares struggle....not every color but enough to cause problems....I sealed mine hoping to reduce the drill popping that my kit had. Loved my image so hoping the sealer works. Gonna stick with rounds from them unless they are able to make a change. Still happy to support the company. Their paint by number canvases are great.
Very cute image Bev but don't think I will be rushing to order any kits from them at the time. I have heard way too many less than stellar reviews for this company so you aren't alone. Yikes! I know someone who knows someone who calls them Crap-ease. It’s not me though. I do love the sort of see-through effect they created on No Face. The drill colors they chose really are fantastic to make it look kind of transparent. It really is an adorable little painting too.

Thanks for the review! I haven’t done a square from them, but i have a few in my stash…I do enjoy their rounds - I haven’t had these issues in the rounds. I do think the render was cute.

I really do love that art. The next time you have a drill coming off, pick it out with tweezers. Maybe the drill isn’t flat on the back? And replace it with a better drill? I’ve no experience with that company and I hope DAC’s Black Friday releases are not my taste or I’m gonna be in trouble 😂 thanks for sharing!
Noooo, that's not the issue, I looked at the drills closer and I think they aren't all sized correctly which is unfortunate! There's so many issues with squares, so when you find a company that does them good, stick with them!
I hate rounds, but I'd rather do a rounds canvas than a poor quality square canvas any day. I have a couple companies that I love their art selection, but I wish they would change their manufacturer because they have the same issues with their squares as you did here. I'm working on one of the rounds now and they are all too small to cover the training circles. I've not tried craft-ease yet, but I have to be more picky about my stash and acrylic drills just don't make the cut for me anymore.
Agree, rounds win when competing against crappy square drills for sure!
I don't think I have any of their kits in square. Now I'm going to have to look. Popping drills is the worst.

Yikes dude! Seems like craft ease is turning into the next diymoon. Used to be one of the best but just isn’t keeping consistent with quality. You’re a trooper for sticking this one out!

Thanks for the review Bev! I only do squares and have been so curious about craft-ease but it's so hard to find reviews on their squares! I'll probably hold off on ordering for now and hope they improve the squares. Glad the rounds are good though!

Serious bummer about the popping drills. 🫤. Im not a fan of square drills in general, but when you put time and work into s canvas, it should stay together. Think Ill pass on this one, even though I love the artwork. 🤷♀️. 😁❤️👍🏻
The artwork is fantastic, which makes me so sad because the quality isn't there
