- This week I finish work on my HUGE project for the year - Padme Amidala's throne room gown from The Phantom Menace. I finish the dress, and make those damn egg things.

This was super cool and your hard work shines through the costume. Having seen other videos on Victorian/Edwardian style dresses after cosplay video sprees, they put a replaceable fabric on the bottom of the skirt to help with wear. I don't know if you thought of adding it after to shield that fur liner on the bottom.

@@KealyAnn I just looked into it. One of the videos mentioned Hem Braid. It looks like worsted wool twill tape. Could probably get away from something easier to find like thrifted bed sheets to help the liner from being worn away.
