Doo needs to up their spring order customization. All backcountry's should come with the 43 inch and give the option to have that or 39. There's a reason the switchbacks all have the wide front end. It just works for both so well.
Was hoping to grab an 850 Turbo, after owning an 2019 850 BC std, wasn’t fun on trails, opted for +1 spindles and X shocks, was slightly better. Looking to try a more trail friendly sled like an MXZ XRS 850. Although there is a couple of these BC XRS available, I just think the track for me might be 137” off a R motion, for the type of riding where I’m at. Looks like Skidoo finally figured out what a X-Over sled should be. This is a beautiful sled! Great commentary as well! 👍
Hey I was wondering if you ever had ice buildup problems on the sides of the tunnel on your backcountry, bc I just bought a 2024 backcountry with the 1.6 and everytime after riding for 20 minutes my side of the tunnel gets full of snow and ice and causes a lot of vibration in the running boards and the ice says there till I scrape it off by hand and I’m wondering if anyone else has had that problem.
I'm really surprised that both your turbos went through a full tank of ice within the first couple rides?? I have 700km on my 850 T BC and haven't even used a quarter tank, and I've been beating on it. Also, in very cold temps, though, that must make a difference in what it uses? Loving this machine!
Yep. During break-in, temps were quite warm so that definitely had something to do with it. We are also running a lot of WOT with the trails up here, which really drains them. Cheers, Mike
Please do a comparison video the Backcountry vs the 9r Assault.
I should've also added the Lynx to my question. You have the top 146" sleds and we're all waiting.

I’m in Ssm Ontario! We have 12’ snowbanks
This was Dec 20th. They've got much more snow now but nothing like southern Ontario, especially Orillia and down the coast to Owen Sound!
In past videos I've listened to you say how great the riding is in Cochran. Those trails are pretty thin... 🤦🏽
This was Dec 20th.. a few more feet since then. Don't jump to conclusions lol
@sledaddicz thank God. I couldn't imagine making an 8 to 10 hour drive for that little snow...
No snow up there
Lots of snow now. This was recorded Dec 20th.
