I am an artist and use a variety of mediums. My friend and I bought some beautiful metallic finishing pastes, and you could use your fingers to swipe it on your art. Several months later we discovered MOLD in our paste from putting our fingers it even though they were clean. I now NEVER put my fingers in any of my makeup or art supplies. I always use a brush. I don’t get hard pan anymore either. I am convinced that the oils in our fingers is what causes the hard pan. I use a silicone flat brush for shimmers that works well, or just a regular brush and spray. I do love your looks with this one, and I did purchase it.
This is such good advice that I will never follow because I’m a menace and I can’t stop myself from digging my fingers in hahaha. I know it will be helpful for others!!
does anyone remember the Bh Cosmetics Aurora Lights that featured their baked shadows? It's so funny cuz it's almost the exact same color story but clearly this is a different formula featuring more updated styles of shimmers... man... just me feeling old and nostalgic. Another great comprehensive review and breakdown.

I had a horrible time with it and figured it was me so I wanted to see some tutorials and swatches. Apparently I didn’t dig in hard enough to the shimmers so I just went back and swatched and they were great. They seem to be hard-pressed for me. But when I dug in and got a built up swatch it was beautiful.
I think dupes for magical might be looxi wicked witch or copacetic Blossom? I want this palette so badly but am standing strong because I simply do not need it! Thanks for the content Riley!
I rarely truly fall in love with palettes because Im picky about color stories and I don't do elaborate looks. I get lost when palettes have varying shades that dont follow the same color family because thinking if lime green and berries can go together is way too much work for me 😂. I love monochromatic palettes or palettes like this where each row has light and dark mattes with shimmer. So easy to just throw on the eyes and look stunning. Simply posh has mesmerized me with their color stories and shimmers especially. Indie brands have been kiling it this year. Blend bunny, Simply posh, Cosmic Beauty. I wish it could be easier for me to purchase from indie brands because I don't live in America and I hope this palette is going to be around for a while so I can save up for very expensive shipping and customs.
Yes!! I know exactly what you mean, if I have to think too much it makes me less likely to reach for a palette. I love gradients and easy layouts. I hope they keep it around for a while!!

Oohh good point! I’ve heard that some of the older palettes had a hard panning issue but I didn’t realize one was marked down because of it
