🙋♂️ Hey Dex, I have 3 2004 WJ's from Virginia No Rust. One Owner who was Atf and Secret service vehicles 140,000 No Engine/Transmission/TC or,DIF Problems You Interested NO RUST 🤷♂️ WILL SELL
Quick tip, the rod ends, aka Heim joints you call ‘em also have LH markings. Male rod ends are dimpled on the end like an indent with countersink drill & our female LH have a ring around the base where threads start. Sell lots & lots of them along with all the control cables we make at Tewco
I have the exact same wj. With iron rock 6.5 longarm in the front and all the trail forged tie rods and trac bar. It's my daily with 180k on it. I love it.
I just found your channel and subscribe I really liked it a lot. I have a WJ as well. Would you be able to tell me the lift components for your rig it looks like you have a spacer lift on there as well? I'd love to know the sizes
What lift is it? I have a Rough Country 4” long arm with 2” spacers. Getting ready to order up IRO 6.5” springs to see if it’s better. Want to run at least 35s.
Any thoughts ? : I have a 91 xj laredo but dont like the way it looks , can I interchange any body parts from later xj to look more like them without being so obvious?
Im sure you know this already but maybe not . .. Check your caster angle for the "light" steering feel . You want somewhere between 4.5*and 6* of caster . Check and see if the steering returns to center "fast or slow" after a turn .(if i remember right , fast is to much caster, slow or no return is too little caster ) Too much caster will also cause it to follow the curve in the road and feel light , to little caster will make the steering feel heavy and can be hard to turn under slow moving...
Where's the best place to measure the castor. I've got a stock Dana 30 and next to the diff there are both what appear to be x and y platforms but are they level on my garage?
Best way to check it is on the knuckle itself .. I usually set the angle finder on the ground and see what it says (mines digital but the same applies for a manual one ) write down the number. Remove the wheel and put a socket or something over the upper balljoint so you have a flat spot for your gauge . check the number , subtract the number from the floor and that will give you your caster angle . (CHECK both sides they can be off a * or so between them . I usually try and aim for 5.5* of positive caster (upper balljoint leaned back toward the fire wall from lower balljoint when looking down on them ) @@jamesdewer
@@Dino30ish I wish Id a checked the caster before I lifted it. I went 2.5" coils and a .5 spacer in the front. Did I measured caster and I was -4 Ran my lca out almost 1" now I'm at 0deg. Steering is on center. I got the low mount pinion. If I want more caster I'm going to invest in some upper control arms. I have a JKS track bar installed and I think the bushings on the upper control arms are too soft because every time I center the axle it drifts about an eighth of an inch or so after driving it. My steering damper has a big flat spot in it. I noticed that is of some concern. Thank you for your knowledge and I love your rig
@@Dino30ish Thank you, I bought better jack stands pulled the front wheels and I was + 3 garage and less Jack stand offset. I did discover the cure for my DW interestingly the front sway bar was not centered. My lack of attention to detail was the issue. Once centered, the front SB. and correct length links installed and the sway bar removed and chassis re-centered using only the steering wheel to center the chassis, perfecto, I then re-installed the JKS sway bar re-assembled everything and she handles beautifully. It was my rush-job work that caused me to overlook basic fundamentals. I still pucker a bit over bumps but took a big hit on a pot hole at 80mph and she rode shook it off. Rides like a lowered out Patriot. Thank you for spurring success!
Are you kidding saying sombody turned regulator off ? lol , your brother? Also can you do a video on how to look for a junkyard 4.0 in decent condition without to many repairs needed etc?
Sorry to be a nudge but, Your toe setting is completely wrong, if you had death wobble that setting could be the issue all along, Toe-in is when two front tires slightly point towards the centerline of the car (towards each other). This helps the car drive straight. The front tires of a car should have around 1/8" of toe-in. You measurements were .5 inches toed out, this will cause wandering at a minimum.
By far one of the cleanest wjs I’ve seen man.
Thank you!! It definitely turned out nice.
One day you'll have a million followers and you'll be mudding this jeep for content
Funny you say that. I don’t wanna be that guy. I just enjoy this stuff.

Привет! Какие параметры дисков и покрышек?
What long arms are on that
What tires is on that? Compare a v8 vs 4.0

You should have a proper camera stand man.. I hope your viewers like to see more about what you are doing… instead of keep showing your face
