Biking the Jackson River Scenic Trail

We took a day to enjoy the early fall weather and biked the Jackson River Scenic Trail in Covington, Virginia. We started at the Intervale Trailhead, riding as far as the trail is completed past Natural Well and returned. A total of 26 miles. A very nice day on the JRT.

This is a great rail trail and is currently being extended up to the Bath County, Virginia line.
