- Update video 1 for the conversion of a 2008 base model corvette to zr1 fenders (front and rear). These are replica panels ordered through JD Corvette. Stay tuned for more update videos as these get completed.
Here is a price parts list from when I ordered trim pieces through GMPartsGiant. Not all parts were able to be ordered there at the time I purchased and their inventory is constantly changing as well as the pricing so please use this for reference only.

Hey man love your channel just finished watching a ton of your c6 vids. I am just curious do you know if the fenders are OEM ZR1 spec fenders or they have extra widebody width. I really like the look I am just trying to figure out if they are wider then the usual ZR1 fenders.
Hey brother thanks for checking in. They are OEM zr1 spec. There are several kits out there wider but I wanted to run stock z06 offset wheels so this set was perfect for me. I took some time off from the car projects because of a new baby but I've been recording a bunch of new stuff, just haven't put any videos together lately.

So im doing the same thing but i already have rear zo6 panels.. im getting bumper and zr1 fenders. Where did u get all your other parts from? Gm?
Nice! I got the rest of the parts from a mix of places, wherever had the parts. GMPartsGiant.com, eBay and my local gm dealer. It was a bit of a hassle to find all the trim pieces but I eventually got them all. Good luck with your build!

@@nothingbuthooksets it wasn’t bad, I paid $800 for the front bumper and a transparent roof top together and actually thinking back now, I got that from fb marketplace. I know JD corvette makes a good front bumper as well if you can’t locate but it’s probably $700 for just that if I had to guess. Also their parts are a little thicker in fiberglass than oem so front bumper may be stiffer to install than an oem one.

@@nothingbuthooksets fog lights are the same and my video where I mount the front bumper shows what I did to modify the bumper bracket to fit (basically just cut the tab off bracket). Rest all is different (trim ducting, liners etc). I highly recommend you only replace the rear liners though. The front ones are not only expensive but they are glue fit. It’s a nightmare to remove then it losses all your alignment bc the front wheel wells actually are what line up your fenders, hood latch, etc). Def look up a video on UA-cam of someone removing it and you’ll see it’s crazy amount of work. Instead it’s only 1” gap. Get some abs plastic liner from Amazon or wherever and you can extend your existing liner. Rears are cheap and easy so def replace those with new.

Hey! I’ve got the Atlas PP8H lifts in there. They work great, have had them for about 4 years now and they fit my truck and hummer underneath while the cars are up top still. I have a few projects I’m finishing up at my new workshop first but after I plan to add a 2 post to one bay and a scissor lift to the other so it will be interesting to compare the use of 3 different types. How was fitment on them ?
Absolutely perfect. I was expecting to have to drill out the mounting holes and make adjustments but they went on as nice as the factory set. I’ve got some video I need to post of them as an update. I’m just swamped with work this past week. Thanks for checking in though. I would highly suggest these fenders and very happy with my purchase.
