Hit me harder than a truck when I realized he was still guarding those kids even in death, so hard in fact that that I almost didn't notice the ninja chopping onions in the corner.
This little town near me, Aberfan, had a disaster back in the 60’s where a coal spoil heap collapsed on the place, mostly hitting the primary school. Five of the staff were killed, and all five were found having been trying to protect the kids when they died - special shout-out to Nansi Williams who died shielding five kids, all of whom actually survived.

Aside from your smooth reading, what really makes your narrations stand out to me are the sound effects you add in. It's such a simple and easy thing to do and adds a lot to the narration, yet not many creators do it.

there's a bunch of abandoned mining towns near me, they're super cool, especially the one built into a cliff, but they're all super unsafe
Yeah, mineshafts haven't really ever been truly safe so going into an old one is a death trap lol

The ending totally didn't make me tear up. I love when teacher's care about their own students and would do anything to protect them, even sacrificing their own lives.
Damn this one hits you in the feels like a brick wall the world needs more Mr parkers in it
As creepy as the part about the mannequin coming after him was, I found it heartwarming, yet sad to learn that it was the spirit of the teacher, Mr. Parker, determined to protect the children, even in the afterlife; he must have thought that the narrator was another intruder who wanted to hurt the kids.
This story reminded me of a incident where a teacher hide her students in a cabinet and saved all of there lives during a school shooting sadly the teacher didint make it

As a paranormal investigator/urban explorer this story hits different. I have been in a few abandoned schools, none with a story like this one. But you can feel like there is always a protective figure watching. If I ever came across a bunch of mannequins I’d probably die. Random single empty chairs in rooms are up there with the creep factor as well. Awesome story bro looking forward to the next!

Even though most of the stories are sad in nature, listening to your narrations have helped me through many a rough time. For some reason your stories brought me a lot of comfort after my mother passed away last summer.
I bet the real reason they cleared out in the 70's was due to lack of discos.

The subject of the story just breaks my heart but the story telling itself is fucking amazing!!!!!!!!!! I wish this was a longer story though telling how the town became a ghost town, who put the mannequins, is the school in a loop hull, and maybe the guy coming back years later to solve the mystery... lol
