16:20 Mine would be Reuben. Love Earl's version, but mine not so much. Really enjoying this, Eli. Thanks for sharing.

Just curious. With several banjos to choose from, what influences your choice of which one(s)? to take on tour???

I play my Cordoba guitar fingerstyle
I believe the Banjo should be than hopefully easier but I think it will help me getting into the picking.
What scares me is the speed.
I am very interested in getting a Banjo my question is I really don’t want to get very expensive one but also don’t want a super cheap one either because I do have the enthusiasm to play. What brand do you recommend?

Hey Eli, I have been looking everywhere for a tutorial on “get in line brother” and can’t find one, if you could make a tutorial on that when you get the time I would appreciate it!

The perfect name for your banjo is Clair. From the song by Gilbert Sullivan of the same name..

I use a 94 Gibson ESS and I would never part with it but you need to play first not all banjos are equal, I would say it’s pretty close to pre war.

Came for the banjo content, stayed for the cat content. Win/win.

Why does everyone I’ve seen on UA-cam references everything left hand/right hand. I’m left handed with a left handed banjo. I wish everyone would reference it maybe like picking hand/fretboard hand. I wish everyone would realize not everyone is right handed.

I’m left handed and always felt lucky that I got to use my dominant hand as the fretting hand. Never understood why anybody would consider an instrument to be “handed” since humans don’t naturally do either “end” of stringed instrument playing.

4 banjo names: John, paul, george, and yoko.....Just play yoko when you're feeling hateful......
Then buy a 5th banjo so you can call it Ringo
