3 travel lanes on the viaduct and Dunsmuir...ah the good ol' days of Vancity!!
I remember this Vancouver, I miss it. Look at the traffic back then during the day it's a weekday as well, now it's a mess there's more traffic during a Sunday now.
45 minutes to drive from New Westminster to Downtown Vancouver. 40 years later, with rapid transit, its probably double that lol.
had no idea the "Oatmeal Curmudgeon" is on UA-cam. #@ 9 a.m., precisely!
such a simpler time
Now I can travel from VCC to Lafarge Lake on the Skytrain. Maybe a Skytrain system could be built across North Van.
It had seats harder than those found at McDonald's when it first opened.
Terminal ave looks so weird without the guideway down the center
Another example of politicians who want to be urban planners but took the wrong electives in college.
SkyTrain is a much better name than ALRT im glad they went with that in the end.
1:09 I know this is before the "flag" license plates we all know and love but did we use to have yellow ones? I thought it was blue with white letters before.
Oregon license plate
Waterfront station not Seabus
