This hit so hard 😢 everyone in my whole life always knew & expected me to get thibgs done, big or small, when i was proud of myself for doing something that i was scared of or didnt have faith in myself to do & i admit i was looking for the proud of you moment & all i got was knew you could do it because your strong. Well inside im not as tough as i show people. Im tired, depressed, numb & afraid. Lots both my parents by 17. Lived in an alcohol, addiction & abusive childhood. I carried that little girl in a box sealed tight into my adulthood & it was a mess. I had a major percocet addiction for 15 yrs add alcohol , bad decisions & jail time in my 50's 😢 i never had anyone help me heal this little girl & better yet people closest to me NEVER saw my raging addiction issue. Why? Im a scorpio and who i am alone is NEVER the weak person i am inside. Im always performing at what people expect. Then i go silent for my tower moment , which im so sick of my whole life being that way to the point of never enjoying & being present for my life because always waiting for the pain to come because holy crap i was truly happy for 5 seconds. No i dont know who i am anymore & i miss that girl.

My mother (who passed away last year) used to tell me I couldn't do things without her, that I needed her to be able to do anything. Followed by an ex that said and did the same thing. Omg! Im in tears but it feels good to let it out I never cried about it being the youngest of 7 Siblings. A lot of abuse . Surrounded by insanity If you did good and the school wanted my parents to know it was like I was bringing attention to the family . I never was seen or heard even when they knew they left me alone with people who were hurting me . I just tried to clean or stay out of the way . Nobody ever hugged or kissed me never heard my parents say I love you . Only a hug from my mom once . I turned it over saying they did the best with what they had. Now Can’t help but say you knew better but a drink in a bar was most important. They fought me what not to do as a mother of 6 single mom . Bottom line my kids all graduated have productive lives Kind and loving . I guess someone had to pay the price to change that cycle. My siblings children repeating the same shit 4 generations later . I have gone through a lot from a child up until now, I was called all those words you mentioned ,but I never gave up and found a job that every member in my family were surprised about . but despite all the harsh words I still deprived myself of luxury and helped them financially when they were going through a bad time
They were very well off compared to me and lived a lavish lifestyle. In spite of me helping I never ever got a simple word like thank you and still was looked down upon and those hurtful words never stop stopped. Now that I have retired a year ago the retirement fund is not a lot and I am having financial difficulties there is no support or help. But with your encouraging words I believe I now can get back on my feet and support myself ., I have a back up plan and thinking ahead ,by doing some crafts and selling them , You would not believe when I mentioned this to my family they did not encourage me , I was told i am wasting my time to do this because they think I am not capable, ..
