Huge fan of the MOD Audio Dwarf! I created a bunch of high gain amp models for the ecosystem and I use them both live with the Dwarf as on my DAW with the free plugin that runs the same models with very low processor load. You can also model virtual amps and have a complete chain with EQ, compression etc modelled in 1 single, lightweight file and use it both live and in your (or another) DAW.
Looks amazing. Glad we can use NAM live in a pedal format.

It was a compromise from the previous design. The DuoX did have an expression input.
What you saw on the table was a prototype for a "Control Chain" based "smart expression pedal" that has been in development for quite a while. You can extend the features of the device by chaining such devices with additional controls, that also map to your plugins.
