If anyone is still using this tutorial, I have a quick tip for you! A really easy way to get horses super fast is just go in a really small server and look around. I literally joined a server and found a winged pony 2 minutes later. I also found a winged goat and horse so it was really easy to complete that quest!
OMG if you go to the fall area but not in the hill where the caprines are but a bit lower is a higher chance of getting one!(I got 2 in under 30 mins )
I really hate when you dont need a specific type of horse it spawns everywhere but when you need/want it they literally stop spawning, like yesterday i found like 6 winged horses and today i simply need 2 for the peryton quest i cant even get a glance of one💀💀

But I finally got winged equus! It took for ever 😅. I have a peg, winged uni, winged bisorse, winged pony winged garg, winged caprines, and winged kelpies. Peyton are already wings so they do count but the others were super hard to get.
I widh they could add private servers. Ppl in tye game said if they did add it the valuse of some horses would go down but that dont make sense since we can breed the dang horses

After 415 tames in the jungle I got a wing buff but it wasn’t from an equus it was from a normal horse. After 5 tames in the desert area right next to the jungle I got 2 equuses with the wing buff.
You open inventory, click it, and click use I think. Or you might have to have the horse you want it on equipped and use it in your hand?? Idk I'm just assuming
