Before use and before debugging, the default output is about 9V
Calculating Discharge Current 2A Output Current
    Output reference maximum current 5V 1.4A, 9V 0.8A, 12V 0.6A
The static current is about 0.5 mA
TP4056 HW 357 J5019 AC01 may different specification, but the same function for step up or increase voltage power
00:00 Varian board HW-357, AC01, J4019 and diagram connect board
    00:37 Test output voltage HW-357, AC01, J4019
    01:32 Test power output HW-357 output 5V - 9V
    02:51 Charging lithium battery
03:00 Test output 12V low current load for fan
03:35 Test power 5V to 12V, without battery
    05:51 Drain internal circuit HW-357, AC01, J4019
    06:00 Charger baterai 500mAh
06:10 Sample diagram circuit with HW-357, AC01, J4019 DIY board
06:19 Application step-up battery to 6V DC for Blood pressure check.
    LED Indicator
    Charge Red, Stand-by Green
    Example
Step up battery power 4V to 9V for Multimeter
Step up battery power 4V or 5V USB power to power 6V DC blood pressure unit
    Operation:
Before use and before debugging, the default output is about 9V.
    Input voltage: 4.5-8V
Output voltage can be continuously adjusted 4.3-27V
(Over 4.3V, below 27V, can output any voltage, reversible clockwise adjustable voltage)
Charging voltage: 4.2V, charging current 1A. Test only 250mAh
Calculating Discharge Current 2A Output Current, test only 1A or lower
    Output reference maximum current 5V 1.4A, 9V 0.8A, 12V 0.6A
The static current is about 0.5 mA, test 0,6mA.
There is no overdischarge protection for overcharge protection (2V cut-off boost is possible, but 2V output is still not blocked)
Cut-off boost 2V, depending on the situation, whether to add protective plate
For example, VIN + BAT + terminal of 5V solar panel can output 4.2V to 3.7V 18650 battery charging OUT + terminal output adjustable voltage need to be adjusted.
It can be used for multimeter and recharging lithium battery

Hello, Great video! Is there a way to cut a trace and add a switch to turn on and off just the "Step up" portion of the module?

    • @ObengwareID
      @ObengwareID  3 місяці тому

      Simple, add switch
This technique is easy to implement and only requires an on/off switch. It's ideal for controlling power from the battery to a module.
      Battery Protection
For batteries (like cell phone batteries), have a Battery Management System (BMS) .
BMS offers built-in overvoltage sensors and undervoltage protection, ensuring safe operation.
      Automatic On/Off While Charging (Optional):
      Protection charging to battery.
While achieving automatic on/off functionality during charging can be more complex, it is still possible.
You can add a voltage control module to your setup.
Like HW 632, bad news this module only work for high voltage (about >8V)

Hello, thank you for the video! Just want to ask with your last example of the video, it becomes like a 6v powerbank. Is it safe to use with camera flash that uses a 4 AA batteries? Is the output voltage still stable even the battery is low battery? And can I use the module without a battery to step up 5v phone charger to 6v?

    • @ObengwareID
      @ObengwareID  Рік тому +2

      4 x 1,5V = 6V
Safe setting with 5 or 5,5V/DC
      But, you must try.
      Smartphone , may be not
This module have limited output ampere
Please check maximum specification ampere input compare output
      I hope can help

@@ObengwareID thank you very much, I just ordered the module (tp4056 with adjustable step up module) In the product description it says:
      Specifications:
      Input voltage: 4.5-8V DC
Output voltage: 4.3-27V DC (Continuously adjustable)
      Charging voltage: 4.2V DC
      Charging current: Max. 1A
      Discharging current: Max. 2A
      Size: 3.3x2.3cm/1.3x0.91"
If I understand correctly, it can output 2 Amperes. I have 5v 2A, power adaptor or charger from my phone which is the one that I'll use with this module, I'll just check if it still can output 2A at 6v. Thank you very much, it surely helps. 👍

    • @ObengwareID
      @ObengwareID  2 роки тому

We test, battery capacity 2000mAh tipe 18650.
If you give the power for sensor, like Arduino device
Or small device (very low ampere) and very sensitive voltage
Dont push up 5V, if can run 4V, go 4V.
If device can run 3.3V, give 3,3V.
Like mini OLED module, input 5V (spesification).
Many people recommend run only 3.3V, for long duration, OLED will damaged.
I hope this information can help

    Help I got a j5019 model
At first it was adjusting completely it is connected with 4 18650 batteries and a 5v charger at 12v output and it is working. But when I soldered it to secure the wiring the voltage won't change anymore even if I adjust it with a screwdriver.
(I'm trying to connect it with a 12v modem router)

      Check, no-load voltage
      Not connected to the modem
      Note
Power modem requires more than 1 Ah.
The average step-up module specification is 0.6Ah (Max theory).
