Not really, you can kind of transition a lot from the Budokai Tenkaichi games to this game. I feel like everyone's still playing it SUPER slow, no one's consistently doing max damage by weaving in rush chains when the opponent is at less than 2 SP. People also aren't abusing Super Counters nearly enough. It's also criminal how often people just whiff their attacks or mess up basic defensive maneuvers lmao

You can literally move towards him while throwing a ki blast to interrupt him from eating a senzu. If Yajirobi is healing, it's because you're letting him.

To be fair it’s a major adjustment for everyone to learn the game, the mechanics can be a bit complex for everyone to get the hang of. So considering the game just came out people are still trying to learn the game, so that’s not a fair attitude to have towards everyone, other than the trash talker though we aren’t including that clown.

You don't need to be good at the game to beat Yajirobi no matter how good someone is with him. You just need more than a singular brain cell and not let him use a Senzu while staying aggressive. ESPECIALLY with UI Goku. You can just throw a ki blast ffs to interrupt him from Senzuing. DO SOMETHING! ANYTHING! Don't make excuses for people. He's just a Hercule but with actual damage (even though it's not by much). Only reason he's used in DP battles by the best players is because he's damn near a free character and he can stall out the timer and clutch wins.

I think that unironically Yajirobe is the best character in the game because you can always use senzu beans because every time you do certain mechanics you get skill points and by the time you are at low health you will have 5 skill points and then you can just use it and from there just rinse and repeat until you beat your opponent. Edit: I don't say it is easy to play Yajirobe, I say that if you are skilled enough then Yajirobe is the best pick in my eyes.
You could sidestep a bit more to hit them in the back when you're in melee range and your opponent is parry spamming or blocking. Or to try and get your turn back
Yajirobe's ult takes a whole bar of health, it's so strong it matches every goku's normal kamehameha, in other words, yajirobe = goku, and he doesn't even train
In the actual anime it is small. It just appears big. And if you notice in xenoverse 2 it is also quite small. It’s how they fall off the cliff of the stage so easily.
Probably just a higher chance of cheap plays. 1v1s are similar in that you can't choose multiple broken characters, and don't have any weird plays, chip damage runs, etc.

@ressyres35 its not so easy. If he counters you, it's over. He can eat the senzu very fast. If you play against a good yajirobe player, it's very frustrating.
