@ahmedhasan4039 Hello Ahmed, thanks for reaching out. To see the SharePoint Admin Center. First ensure you have Global Admin role or SharePoint Role assigned to your identity if it's your own development tenant. If it's a shared tenant, ask the G.A to give SharePoint Admin role. Next will be to add the Admin Center quick navigation to the Admin Center Category. In the video I demonstrated this, watch the video in full to see how where I referenced the roles. Once these are done, anytime you log in to office.com you will see the Admin tile for SharePoint. Should you require a personalised full training you can reach me. It will be at an affordable fee though as this will be done in stages.
No, it is not possible to change or edit the root communication site directly from the SharePoint Admin Center. However, you can perform certain actions like changing site settings, permissions, or applying a new theme. But for major edits like changing the design or content of the root site itself, you need to open the site and edit it through the SharePoint site interface (modern experience). If you want to customize the root site or replace it with a new one, you can: Replace the Root Site: You can replace the root site with another communication or team site using the "Replace Root Site" option in the SharePoint Admin Center. Edit the Site: You can edit the content, layout, web parts, etc., from the site directly by going to the root communication site URL and using the "Edit" button available in the interface. Let me know if you need further clarification on any step!
@@obinnachijindu we tried replacing the site from the admin centre but the edit option was graded out and I sent the cx this option but he said this didn't work for him and I wanted to try it but the replace option was equally graded out then I opted to use powershell to change it but the cx is using a mac
