I was just practicing German and couldn't find any decent song to listen. Then the idea of listening AoT soundtracks came to me, when listened them with the German lyrics I realized that the pronounciations were way too off. But im here thanks to youtube algorithm, listening it from your kind voice, having the meanings of your words fill me up. Just learned that German can be kind 😅

Crazy how when sang by a native speaker, it feels like a totally different song, each word and letter really gets the right intonation and is really valued, Japanese people probably struggle with the pronunciation of German . They struggle pretty hard with their English too, but the fact that they're tremendous singers makes up for it. I've also heard English speakers cover Zero Eclipse, for example, and slip up on the same enunciation as the Japanese singer. I think it was "worlds", which is always a struggle. Apple Seed is really hard to make out with the Japanese singers. Love listening to them though.

I've been coming back to this for months, and I must say that it gets me every time. It's hard-hitting, but it manages to calm me down and relax me every time I listen. Your cover reminds me very much of the piece "End of battles" from the Shadow of The Colossus OST. It's a wonderful piece, haunting, but peaceful and beautiful, like a calm lake.

To be honest, a lot of germans probably don´t even know the song is sung in German because the pronunciation of the singer is a bit different to how we talk! But (I can only speak for myself here) I was very proud that they chose German as a language to sing in! The show is actually very popular amongst germans. I remember the server of our streaming service crashing once season 4 came out because way too many people wanted to stream it👀 And thank you so much for your sweet comment🥰

german here :D to be fair, unless you look up the lyrics, you wont even recognize that so many aot songs are in german. not saying the singer did a bad job, but the pronounciation is really off at times. for songs like "vogel im käfig" its kinda obvious since the name is already german (bird in a cage) but for some songs its harder to make out what language they are supposed to be :D

Oh man... This is really freaking good, damn! Reiner started off as my favourite character, had me legitimately surprised during Season 2's reveal, then turned him back around into my favourite character again. Just continues to be one of the most layered and complex characters in the entire show. You gotta love how Attack On Titan doesn't take sides in the conflict here; they made a world where there's both good and evil, and the lines get skewed again and again.

what I love about this version is in comparison to the original. with the Original, you get a scale of epic righteous anger seeking justice and this one is like protraying the solemn aftermath. say if the previous episode had the original showing the epic scale of battle, this version would play at the end of the next episode of the one who sought justice, partially regretting the actions they had to take previously. i enjoy this version and would love a digital copy to add to my music library
Holy crap it's kind of amazing how much native vocals add to the song despite the original song being sung by a very good vocalist. I wish they had collaborated with a german singer for these OSTs it would have probably added a quite a bit to what is already an amazing soundtrack.
