Our journey begins in the early afternoon, packing our gear and setting off on a scenic 30-minute drive through the breathtaking landscapes of the Dubai desert. Arriving at Flamingo Lake, we're immediately captivated by the sight of various bird species, including a stunning array of flamingos gracefully wading in the lake.
Finding the perfect spot near the water, we set up for our BBQ, marveling at the vibrant fishes swimming close by, curious and eager for food. As Daddy and Nuhaa venture into the nearby jungle to spot more birds, Mommy gets busy preparing a delicious BBQ feast. The cloudy weather adds to the serene ambiance, making it an ideal day for an outdoor meal.
Gathering together, we savor our BBQ while enjoying the picturesque surroundings and the company of our loved ones. The tranquility of the lake and the occasional calls of the birds create a magical atmosphere, making this outing truly special.
After our meal, we enjoy a warm cup of tea, only to be surprised by a sudden rain shower. Quickly wrapping up our things, we find shelter under a tree, laughing and enjoying the unexpected moment. The rain stops as quickly as it started, leaving behind a fresh, invigorating scent in the air.
As the day draws to a close, we pack up and head back to our car, reflecting on the wonderful experiences and beautiful sights we've encountered.
