I got this deck as an accident after seeing your reviews, wanted to order The Mystical Shaman and ended up with The Shaman's Dream. (I now own both) Honestly I have to say, Shaman's Dream is the best deck for me so far, it has slapped me in the face even without reversals, the art and backs don't bother me at all (had a major issue with the look of Wisdom of the Oracle) This deck works like a dream for me for quick questions, daily pulls, when you're not in the full tarot mood etc. Even better than The Mystical Shaman, probably due to me not being from the US and having no connection to Shamanism at all. Dreams however do add up with my Patronesses. Thank you so much for the review, even though I'm late, this helped me find one of the most perfect decks for me 🖤
I agree completely with your take on this deck. It gets right to the point and I use it to clarify readings. I found the images to be scattered but the more I use it the more I feel it hits the world of dreams spot on. Waking up from a dream and wondering what the hell was that about lol. The joyful muse card is so weird! I have seen where some have actually removed it from the deck but that card for me has a very Alice in Wonderland feel to it. The Dream Realm can be a place that is a bit trippy and the image mix in this deck does draw me into that space. Dreams can reveal with sometimes odd images what we need to be noticing in our awakened state. Thanks for sharing Blessings!
You are quite right. Hay House is patently interested in money making over anything else. My words not yours. I stopped buying from them unless I " had to " several years ago when I got a very disappointing response to an enquiry about exorbitant shipping fees for an item. ( I have bought literally hundreds of decks- many indie and kickstarter decks and do not hesitate to pay $40 for shipping where necessary. But this was ridiculous) I am sad when old favourite authors have not moved publishers because I honestly feel Hay House is doing a disservice to spiritual community and needs to reevaluate their principles. No apologies for this sincere comment.

I agree, I always find Collette's decks spot on, I will say the guide book didn't "sound" as much like Collette's voice (if that makes sense) but I would imagine it's because it was co-authored.
I'm getting this deck for that card alone!! Cat and the fiddle, hey diddle diddle! It's hilarious!! Well, that's my humour anyway, and I'm sticking to it! ❤❤❤❤

I also enjoy her 7 energies, this one though, I have picked up a few times and yesterday I did the same thing picked it up and put it down in the shop. Ended up with Alana's white light oracle. B day yesterday so naturally I bought a new deck lol. I love the first shaman deck too. I am not really feeling this new deck yet. Its nice to see what your thoughts are though.
Dear owlmoon: I so enjoy watching your reviews. And I have a couple of suggestions regarding recording quality bc they really affect my ability to get the most out of your videos. The VOLUME is too low and I can BARELY hear you! waaaa ALSO there is GLARE on the cards when you hold them up to the screen. Makes it hard to see them. Please consider ways to improve these issues cuz I just give up pretty early on. Thanks for your consideration of these probably easily corrected issues.
I’m in love with this channel, it’s very useful and inspiring to me. Could anyone give me an advice please? I’m just getting into oracle and am on my way to buy my first decks: one for shadow work and one for guidance. For the first one I’ve chosen the Les Vempires deck, but I have troubles with choosing the self-guidance one. I want it to be answering, but not obviously designed to reassure you, if you know what I mean. I want it to be very practical but I like more depth in the messages at the same time. Will the shamanic ones be a good pick? Are there any similar decks? I’m interested in the Beyond Lemuria deck, but I’m afraid it may be too cosmical for an everyday ride… I would be really grateful for any recommendations 🙏
I recently pulled out this deck to see if I could use it the same way that you have been using the Oracle of 7 Energies. It was in the back of the closet because of those annoying cat images and the cactus with the face and the horns! Ugh!! They just make my skin crawl for some reason- lol!!

Good review. I call the card finish "satin" but don't like the feel. I do like the cactus image & most images. The cat's eyes kind of ruin that card, but it's not that bad. I agree the style differs from the rest, but i guess there has to be some positive cards to balance the darker ones. ;) Would like to hear your review of the Goddess & Animal oracles you got about a month ago.
I’m new to reading, and I love these examples you give with reviews. If I could request anything, it would be a word or two about what in the oracle card clarifies your tarot. You seem to know right off the bat with this example. Was it the imagery for you? What you’ve read in the guidebook? Is it totally intuitive or is that you’re familiar with CBR decks and you just kinda “get” what she’s doing? PS yeah, wtf with that cat 😂
