Have the 2018 love it but I really wanted the fully loaded one but got the se still loving the car it's good on gas lol has a good pickup when needed the real test is going to be in the winter time in the snow for the real handling and has different driving options

This car being reviewed is not a 2.0T model. LED headlamps come standard on some other trim levels.

Did u no. If the car is locked u can walk behind it with the key. Anywhere and the trunk unlocks. I learned that one day. But car has to be locked
I have the same exact car. On the lights in the back. What r the yellow one. The other day I noticed the right yellow was not on. But pushing lock button I saw both yellow flash on. I need to look on back I don’t recall white light on left and right under back lights. And why do your strips of lights on the front. The side lights on front flash. Mine stay steady. Funny same color same rims.
I wish you can do a review on that red dodge stealth but anyways great review and i want a sonata

Anyone have a good recommendation of what I should pay for a 2018 Sonata Limited. Seems like the dealers think we don't know that the Mfr suggested retail price is not the true price. Any ideas?

I've a 2017 Sonata Sport 2.0T which has more details that the new one. I think that Hyundai was going back in the new model. The wheels are not the right size for an sport model. The inside is not in full leader as the previous models. No panoramic sun roof and no air conditioned in the back seats. As always, the engine is 0.5 less as it should be (2.5 T) to have the right power in this model and be competitive with other marcs. I think that Hyundai can add all these deails for 2019 to become the best in the line. Thank you for your attention.

Is the third brake light supposed to be flashing like that because my is a 2018 sonata sport (same as the one being reviewed) but my third brake light did not flash at all?

Car Porn! LOL. I wouldn't mind having the exact trim in blue. Been waiting but all the dealers seem to keep stocking base models and bland colors. I just don't get why they do that. I would've settles for white but my 2017 Santa Fe Limited Ultimate is white. I want Blue or even red would good as long as it came with the brown/beige or umber interior.
Tony D Yeah, why don't they have any 2.0T models? I live in a large city with multiple dealers, and all they have in stock are the 2.4L models.
ArcadianGenesis, It's frustrating. It's like the dealers don't want to invest in getting the upper trim models on their lots. Could be because they want to upsell base models for the price of the upper trims so, if they have both on the lot they can't get away with that.
Or it could be that "no one" wants fully loaded, sport or tech packages. I find that hard to believe though. I've told my local dealers do not call me unless they have in stock what i asked for. I wasn't trying to be rude but I got tired of the constant calls asking me to "just test drive this trim and I can work with you" Nope! i'm a person who knows exactly what I want and what I will compromise on and what I will not. But I'll wait until the Fall stock arrives to see what will come. That will give me more time to save and a better negotiation period. We'll see, We'll see!
Tony D Hey, good news! I just checked the inventory online, and my local dealer now has one Limited 2.0T on the lot (white pearl) with another one "en route to dealer" (scarlet red). I'm going to test drive one if they don't sell before I get the chance.
Man, that's talking up some good luck right there. I found a dealer about 1 hour 1/2 from me who has the electric blue Limited with the Moon Roof. I'm waiting for info from the Dealer on a price before I go any further. Plus I'm hoping to go in with my own financing. For better negotiation. Good Luck and keep me updated!! I would like to know how it turns out for you. I will do the same.

Hmmm.... it is not a 2.0T. It is a 2.4 GDI engine under the hood, because I have the exact same engine in my 2017 Sonata Sport 2.4 GDI.

How you get the lights to pulse flash like that
its the camera doing that since LED's actually blink at a rapid rate. Take your cell phone camera and a remote control IR light and it does the same effect.@@ThugX

wow how can people think this car is ugly? how is it cheap crap? you've obviously never driven one or seen one in person. i find this styling unique and refreshing, not the same boring blob others still churn out. hyundai actually gives a crap about their drivers. Cars are long-lasting, user-friendly, and stylish. ok their engines are slightly underpowered for their class, but when you take in the good looks, the huge list of features, and the long list of warranties, all for ~25k, you're a fool not to consider it.
