- Farm Houses in Pakistan have become a recent trend as most of the population are choosing to move out from the city centers as the quality of air has deteriorated in the cities especially in Lahore and Rawalpindi. The fascination with green living has lead to this shift. People usually have farm houses as their second homes where they keep cows and chickens for organic milk, eggs, butter etc. Furthermore people at farm houses grow their own vegetables, have fruit trees and enjoy the nature with widespread green areas and little to no construction. Usually 1 or 2 bedroom cottage style single story farm houses are constructed on land with area starting from 3 kanal all the way to 20 kanals. The cost of a 4 kanal farm house with a covered area of approximately 3000 Square feet is 18,000,000 Rs. This is without swimming pool and basement. For landscaping and boundary wall the cost increases further by 5 million rupees. So it makes a total of 23,000,000 Rs.

Walaikum Salam. In Farm Houses there are not many construction regulations as far as housing societies are concerned. It varies. Mostly the boundary wall has to be built according to some regulations laid out by the housing society. Within the boundaries of your house, you can build pretty much whatever your requirements are.
For 2 Kanal Farm house, usually you can build anywhere from between 2000 to 20,000 Square feet of covered area.

It depends on the by-laws of the specific housing society. No general rules in case of farm houses.

@@muhgha01 The maker of this video has never constructed anything before. He said 3000 rs/RFT at the beginning and then said 50lakh! 3000rs / RFT would mean around 17lakh not 50lakh! The recent quote of my 4.5 kanal farm house was for around 30 lakh due to inflation
